  • Patent number: 5037125
Abstract: A fully articulated suspension is adapted for linking a frame of a vehicle to axles. To facilitate assembly a C-shaped spring in the form of a plate located in the plane of bending is hinged to axles inside its midmost portion and to the frame through its ends. The C-shaped spring is hinged to the frame through shackles so that a vertical displacement of the spring ends is at its possible maximum whereas a horizontal displacement thereof is not greater than one half of the permissible deformation of the spring in the horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 4984817
Abstract: A fully articulated suspension of tandem wheels of a transport vehicle having a frame (1) with axles (2) has torque reaction rods (17, 18, 19, 20) linked with the axles, at least one pair of double-arm levers (3), each linked mechanically with the frame (1) and, by one of its arms (4), with the corresponding axle (2) by an assembly (8) for the transmission of static and dynamic loads. Articulated to the other arm (5) of the corresponding double-arm lever (3) are stirrup-shaped plate springs (22, 23) of the corresponding spring assembly (21) for the absorption of dynamic loads.

  • Patent number: 4972920
Abstract: A wheel suspension of a motorcycle comprises a resilient element (1) C-shaped in the flexure plane and pivotably connected by ends thereof to a swinging arm (5) carrying the wheel, and to the frame (3) of the motorcycle. The resilient element (1) of the suspension ensures a higher riding performance of the motorcycle thanks to improved compliance of the end portions of the element (1) functioning as leaf springs towards the least resistance, whereas the middle portion of the resilient element (1) works in the direction of the most resistance.

  • Patent number: 4886292
Abstract: An elastic suspension of a vehicle having a frame with at least one axle includes a lamination (3) of leaf springs interposed between the frame (1) and axle (2) and mechanically connected thereto. A plate bracelike spring (4) extends lengthwise of the lamination (3) of leaf springs. The adjacent mid portions (5,6) of the lamination (3) of leaf springs and plate bracelike spring (4) are mechanically interconnected by means of a fastening assembly (7).

  • Patent number: 4883261
Abstract: A Zamitter blade spring is made from a resilient blade (1), which comprises a midportion (2), and end portions (3,4) of different lengths (S, S.sub.1) joined to the midportion (2) by their ends. Other ends of the end portions (3, 4) of the blade have eyes (7, 8) to receive elements of pivotable connetions of the spring blade with longitudinal axes (9, 10) of these eyes substantially perpendicular to the plane of arrangement of the neutral line (11) of the resilient blade (1) passing through the centers (15, 17) of gravity of its transverse sectional planes (5, 6).

  • Patent number: 4763885
Abstract: A spring is constructed as a resilient U-shaped piece comprising a middle portion and leg portions disposed in the same plane, the leg portions including a bearing for taking an external load. The bearings are disposed on the leg portions in such a manner that a line passing through the centers of the bearings is parallel to the middle portion.
