  • Publication number: 20110038892
Abstract: The invention relates to a complexing system comprising two polypeptide helices derived from a SNAP protein; one polypeptide helix derived from syntaxin; one polypeptide helix derived from synaptobrevin or a homolog thereof; and one or more cargo moieties attached to the polypeptide helices, wherein the four polypeptide helices can form a stable SNARE complex. The invention also relates to a method of producing the complexing system and the use of the complexing system.

  • Publication number: 20100293593
Abstract: A method of controlling user access to contact information associated with public user identities (IMPUs) registered in respect of the user's subscription within an IP Multimedia Subsystem. The method comprises installing into a Serving Call/Session Control Function assigned to the user, one or more contact information access policies, the contact information access policy or policies defining if and under what circumstances the user can view or delete contact information. Upon a request by the user to view and/or modify said contact information, the Serving Call/Session Control Function evaluates and enforces these contact information policies.

  • Publication number: 20040253636
Abstract: The invention provides a method for the analysis of proteins, in particular complex mixtures of proteins such as those in a biological samples, comprising: a) treating the protein mixture to produce a mixture of peptides; b) contacting the mixture of peptides with at least one amino acid filtering agent that binds to the side chain of an amino acid; c) depleting the micture of those peptides that bind to the filtering agent; d) identifying one or more peptides remaining in the depleted mixture. The method facilitates analysis by decreasing the complexity of a mixture prior to the application of an analytical technique such as mass spectrometry.

  • Publication number: 20020055186
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and devices for determining the presence of proteins of interest in a sample. In practice, the method comprises submitting the sample to conditions that allow fragmentation of the proteins into target peptide fragments. The target peptide fragments are then contacted with an array of capture agents, such as antibodies, immobilized on a solid support. The capture agents recognize a target peptide fragment of a protein of interest. Binding of a target peptide fragment with an antibody is indicative of the presence of a protein of interest in the sample. The invention further provides a method for producing an array for capturing a target peptide fragment of a protein of interest, which comprises immobilizing capture agents on a solid support, wherein each capture agent specifically recognizes a sequence of a region of a target peptide fragment from a different protein of interest.
