  • Patent number: 10822708
Abstract: A differential pressure type high pressure water electrolysis apparatus has a flow passage forming member for supplying water to an anode. In the flow passage forming member, there are formed a water receiving section for receiving water supplied from the exterior, a distributing path for distributing the water that has flowed into the water receiving section, a converging path into which a surplus supplied amount of water flows, and a water discharging section for receiving the water inside the converging path and discharging it to the exterior. The positions of the distributing path and the converging path are offset from an opposing position where a seal member faces toward a pressure resistant member that surrounds the seal member from the exterior.

  • Patent number: 6157066
Abstract: Electrostatic breakdown is avoided during fabrication of individual semiconductor devices using a semiconductor aggregate substrate. The semiconductor aggregate substrate is comprised of a large wafer. A plurality of sections are provided on the surface of the wafer, which are divided by division lines. A display active matrix circuit is integrally formed in each of the segments through normal IC production processing. Guard ring patterns are provided so that they surround the individual display active matrix circuits. A connection pattern is also provided for commonly connecting the guard ring patterns adjoining each other through the division lines. The connection pattern has opening structures for dealing with an external overcurrent on both sides of the division lines. The opening structures are constituted by, for example fuse patterns.

  • Patent number: 6094245
Abstract: A liquid crystal projector has a pre-sheet polarizer and an incoming light side sheet polarizer on the incoming light side of a liquid crystal panel. Two sheet polarizers superimposed to each other are stuck on the outgoing light side face of the liquid crystal panel. The degree of polarization of the pre-sheet polarizer is smaller than that of the incoming light side sheet polarizer, so that both the sheet polarizers suitably share the quantity of absorbed light. Similarly, the degree of polarization of the incoming light side one of the sheet polarizers stuck on the outgoing light side face of the liquid crystal panel is smaller than that of the other one, so that both the sheet polarizers suitably share the quantity of absorbed light. With this configuration, the durability of the sheet polarizer is improved and the light output is increased.

  • Patent number: 6057894
Abstract: A projection type liquid crystal display according to the present invention comprises a dichroic prism for separating or synchronizing a light to provide fundamental colors for color display, and a unit for enlarging and projecting a transmitted light from the liquid panel. The liquid panel has one surface fixedly attached to a transparent member and the other surface integral with the dichroic prism directly or through at least one optical component. In the projection type liquid crystal display, the light which provides fundamental colors for color display and is separated or synchronized at the dichroic prism is incident on the light incidence surface of the liquid panel through the transparent member or the dichroic prism without contacting with the air in the space.

  • Patent number: 6002459
Abstract: According to a liquid crystal panel of the present invention, the focal length of micro-lenses is set to be longer than the distance between the micro-lens array and the first substrate, while light collected by each micro-lens is arranged to focus inside the first substrate. Thus, the divergence angle after focusing can be reduced. Therefore, the maximum light-emerging angle from the LCD panel can be reduced, and eclipse of the light which causes chrominance or luminance non-uniformity does not occur even when a lens having a high F number is used as a projection lens.
