  • Publication number: 20060189183
Abstract: A camera module connector assembly includes a connector and a camera module. The connector includes an insulative housing that defines a hollow receiving space therein, a plurality of signal terminals fixed in the housing, a shield surrounding the housing, and at least one grounding pin. The camera module is disposed in the receiving space and has a substrate formed with contact pads. One end of each of the terminals respectively contact the substrate contact pads, so that the camera module is electrically connected to the connector. A metal layer is coated on the main body of the camera module, which provides a shielding function to the camera module and the connector, to protect the present invention from EMI for a better shielding result. The camera module assembly is manufactured more easily for reducing manpower and time, thereby the assembling cost is also reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060189216
Abstract: A camera module connector with an anti-disorientation structure includes an electrical connector and a camera module. The electrical connector has an housing, a plurality of signal terminals and a shield. The housing forms a receiving space. The signal terminals are fixed in the housing. The shield covers the housing. The camera module is positioned in the receiving space of the housing. The signal terminals have one end for contacting contact pads on four sides of the substrate of the camera module, so the camera module is electrically connected to the electrical connector. The housing of the electrical connector forms a notch, and the main body of the camera module forms a corresponding protrusion. The protrusion cooperates with the notch to form a keying structure with an orientating function when the camera module is positioned in the receiving space of the connector.

  • Patent number: 6857186
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a piezoelectric ink-jet print-head uses a metallic layer and a thick film layer with a slot hole therein instead of a ceramic vibration plate and an ink layer. The piezoelectric layer and the upper electrode layer are formed inside the ink cavity so that overall thickness of the print head is reduced. To form the ink-jet print head, a metallic layer and a lower electrode layer are sequentially formed over a substrate. A patterned piezoelectric layer and an upper electrode layer are sequentially formed over the lower electrode layer. A patterned thick film layer with a slot hole therein is formed over the metallic layer. The thick film layer and the metallic layer together form a cavity that encloses the piezoelectric layer and the upper electrode layer. A nozzle plate having a nozzle thereon is attached to the thick film layer. The nozzle plate, the thick film layer and the metallic layer together form an ink cavity. The hole in the nozzle is continuous with the ink cavity.
