  • Patent number: 11955379
Abstract: A metal adhesion layer may be formed on a bottom and a sidewall of a trench prior to formation of a metal plug in the trench. A plasma may be used to modify the phase composition of the metal adhesion layer to increase adhesion between the metal adhesion layer and the metal plug. In particular, the plasma may cause a shift or transformation of the phase composition of the metal adhesion layer to cause the metal adhesion layer to be composed of a (111) dominant phase. The (111) dominant phase of the metal adhesion layer increases adhesion between the metal adhesion layer.

  • Patent number: 10496128
Abstract: A computer device including a processor, a counter circuit and a baseboard management controller (BMC) is provided. The processor generates at least one signal. The counter circuit includes at least one counter, coupled to the at least one signal and receiving an internal clock signal of the computer device. The BMC is coupled to the at least one counter and activates the same. The at least one counter detects the at least one signal, so as to start counting for a count value according to the internal clock signal when the at least one signal is enabled. The BMC controls the at least one counter to stop counting and obtains an enabled timepoint of the at least one signal according to the count value and a timepoint where the at least one counter is stopped. The enabled timepoint serves as a timestamp of the at least one signal.

  • Patent number: 9794330
Abstract: A server, a server management system and a server management method are disclosed. The server comprises a field replaceable unit (FRU) memory and a baseboard management controller (BMC). The FRU memory stores an FRU data. The BMC receives an FRU access command from a remote management computer via an intelligent platform management interface (IPMI). The FRU access command comprises an FRU identification (ID). The BMC determines whether the FRU ID belongs to the FRU memory. If the FRU ID does not belong to the FRU memory, the BMC accesses a custom file according to the FRU ID. The custom file is different from the FRU data.

  • Publication number: 20150106644
Abstract: A redundant array of independent disks (RAID) storage device, a server system, and a power management method thereof are provided. The RAID storage device includes a plurality of hard disks, a plurality of fans, a power detector, and an expander control unit. The power detector is used for detecting the power consumption of the RAID storage device. The expander control unit is electrically connected to the hard disks, the fans, and the power detector. The expander control unit has a power control application which enables a user to configure an upper power consumption limit. When the power consumption of the RAID storage device exceeds the upper power consumption limit, the expander control unit executes a power management procedure so that the power consumption of the RAID storage device is lower than the upper power consumption limit.
