  • Patent number: 6553905
Abstract: It is possible to obtain a screen printing method that may assure excellent printing qualities since the screen printing method of the present invention includes: (A) sliding a squeegee head with paste stored in the squeegee head on a mask plate, while the past is pressurized, and printing the paste on a substrate through pattern holes of the mask plate, (B) at least one step of (b) separating the squeegee head with the paste stored therein from the mask plate, and (e) sliding the squeegee head on the mask plate for a pre-squeezing purpose before the step (A). The step of separating the squeegee head from the mask plate includes the steps of (1) discontinuing the pressure application to the paste stored in the squeegee head, (2) horizontally moving the squeegee head by a predetermined distance while the bottom end portion of the squeegee head is abutted on the mask plate in a state of the pressure application being discontinued, and (3) moving the squeegee head upward off from the mask plate.

  • Publication number: 20020007743
Abstract: A screen-printing apparatus for printing creamy solder paste on a substrate by attaching a screen mask to the substrate. A laser-measuring device mounted in the apparatus measures the top surface of the screen mask at a printing position and the top of the substrate at a substrate-measurement position by three-dimensional measurement, and detects a shape of the substrate or the screen mask, and determines whether or not they are acceptable. After screen printing is completed, the substrate and the screen mask undergo a printing inspection where their shapes are inspected. This provides not only inspection data of the printing results but also data for identifying the causes of print failures. As a result, the screen-printing apparatus, which has high-printing accuracy and can prevent printing failures from occurring, is provided.

  • Patent number: 6336402
Abstract: A screen printing apparatus is designed so that cream solder 17 disposed on a mask plate 12 can be preserved at a certain appropriate temperature by the limited use of blown air. An air nozzle unit 20 is provided above the mask plate 12 at a place on the side edge running in parallel with the moving direction of a squeegee 16. The temperature-conditioning air is blown sidewise from the air nozzle unit 20 towards the cream solder 17 during the operation of printing the cream solder 17 on the surface of a substrate through the mask plate 12 disposed in contact therewith.

  • Patent number: 5996487
Abstract: There is disclosed a solder paste screen printing apparatus and a solder paste screen printing method, in which a force of pressing of a squeegee can be adjusted delicately and accurately so as to effect the printing of solder paste with the optimum pressing force. A squeegee is connected to a lower end of a rod of a cylinder, and a load cell is provided above the rod. A first pressure and a second pressure are applied respectively to an upper chamber and a lower chamber of the cylinder. A load, applied to the load cell, is measured while varying the level of the first pressure, and the pressure measurement for the pressing force is effected in accordance with the measured load. In accordance with this result, the instruction pressure for the cylinder, which is necessary for obtaining the optimum pressing force, is determined, and then the printing of solder paste onto a substrate is started with this instruction pressure.

  • Patent number: 5964962
Abstract: A substrate for a solar cell has a first surface with minute unevenness formed by spraying abrasive grains with a count of #2000 or higher, on which a layered structure for photoelectric transfer is to be formed, wherein the unevenness on the first surface of the substrate has a difference in height between convex portions and concave portions of around 0.1 to 0.5 .mu.m.

  • Patent number: 5581595
Abstract: In a telephone system, a memory dial mode is set by operating a mode key of a radio telephone, and then a selection key is manipulated to select a public telephone number of an opposite (called) radio telephone. Thereafter, when a dialing key is operated, a dialing output process to the public telephone number selectively displayed on a LCD (liquid crystal display) unit is performed. When a telephone ending key is operated while a telephone line is not connected, a private telephone number of the radio telephone previously stored into a RAM is displayed on the LCD unit. Subsequently, when the dialing key is operated, another dialing output process to the private telephone number displayed on the LCD unit is executed.

  • Patent number: 5519542
Abstract: The invention relates to a coating composition for preparing a back coating film of a mirror. The mirror has a glass substrate, a silver mirror film formed on a back surface of the glass substrate, a metallic protective film formed on the silver mirror film, and the back coating film formed on the metallic protective film. The coating composition comprises: a binder consisting of 40 to 85 parts by weight of the total of an epoxy resin and a hardener of the epoxy resin, and 15 to 60 parts by weight of at least one selected from the group consisting of a ketone formaldehyde resin and its derivatives; and a pigment blend containing 7-55 wt % of a corrosion-inhibitive pigment based on the weight of the pigment blend. The weight ratio of the pigment blend to the binder is in the range from 1.2 to 4.0. The back coating film is superior in chemical resistance and corrosion resistance even if a lead-free corrosion-inhibitive pigment is used.
