  • Patent number: 9539882
Abstract: An air conditioning register includes a downstream fin, primary upstream fins, a secondary upstream fin, and an operation knob slidably attached onto the downstream fin. The operation knob sandwiches a shaft of the secondary upstream fin. The air conditioning register has a link mechanism that includes arms and a coupling rod. The arms extend from pivots of the primary and secondary upstream fins in a direction orthogonal to the pivots, and have a pin at the tip of the arms. The coupling rod couples the respective pins. The distance between the pivot and the pin in the arm of the secondary upstream fin is longer than the distance between the pivot and the pin in the arm of each primary upstream fin. The coupling rod includes coupling portions, each of which couples the pins of an adjacent pair of the arms. Adjacent coupling portions are pivotally coupled.

  • Patent number: 9511718
Abstract: To provide a glove box that can cause an inner case to operate to open obliquely downward while suppressing large change in the center of gravity in the up-down direction. A mechanism for guiding opening/closing operation of the inner case in the glove box is composed of two types of mechanisms: i.e., a slide mechanism including a guide shaft and a slide guide portion; and a link mechanism including a link member. The inner case is guided in the front-rear direction by the slide mechanism, and a rear portion of the inner case is guided so as to swing downward by the link mechanism.

  • Patent number: 9475070
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a water faucet which allows a large space to be secured above the washing area and yet can deliver a high washing performance by landing streams or waterdrops having a large cross-sectional area evenly on a piece to wash. This water faucet includes a flow velocity changing part which changes the flow velocity of the stream discharged from each of multiple water spray holes such that the cross-sectional area of the stream changes with time. The multiple water spray holes are disposed at intervals such that, when the cross-sectional area of one stream discharged from one water spray hole exceeds a predetermined size, the one stream is merged with one of the other streams discharged from the multiple other water spray holes adjacent to the one water spray hole, and such that the one of the other streams with which the one stream merges changes with time.

  • Publication number: 20160224499
Abstract: An onboard apparatus comprising a connection portion, a control block, and a bus switch is provided. The connection portion connects with an external device mounted to a vehicle, and includes at least a data terminal to input and output a communication data and a control terminal to output a communication availability signal that indicates communication is available or not. The control block performs data communication with the external device, which is connected to the connection portion. The bus switch, according to a permission signal, changes a non-conduction state to a conduction state of a transmission path from the control block to the data terminal. A signal level of the permission signal varies when an output of the control block is stabilized after the onboard apparatus starts.

  • Publication number: 20160185289
Abstract: A storage device includes a storage body having an opening and a lid for selectively opening and closing the opening of the storage body. The storage body has a light emitter and a power receiving portion connected to the light emitter. The lid has a power supplying portion, which is configured to supply power to the power receiving portion by the direct current resonance method. The light emitter emits light to interior of the storage body at a first luminance when the opening is closed by the lid. When the lid opens the opening so that the distance between the power receiving portion and the power supplying portion is reduced, the light emitter changes the luminance to a second luminance, which is different from the first luminance.

  • Publication number: 20160107612
Abstract: A front defroster nozzle apparatus includes a retainer, and a guide fin. The retainer includes an inlet opening, an outlet port, and a retainer base. The retainer base is branched into two forked elements (i.e., first and second branches having a first outlet opening and a first inlet end and a second outlet opening and a second inlet end, respectively). The outlet port involving the first and second outlet openings has an outlet width of 400 mm or less that is larger than an opening width of the inlet opening. The first and second outlet openings have first and second opening widths being larger than first and second opening widths of the first and second inlet ends. The retainer base includes a throttled portion whose flow-passage cross-sectional area accounts for from 80% or less to 60% or more of a flow-passage cross-sectional area of the inlet opening.

  • Publication number: 20160075310
Abstract: A defrosting performance identical to that in a conventional front defroster nozzle device is exhibited by a simpler structure even in the case of decreasing the overall length of a front defroster nozzle device in the direction of vehicle width. A current of air from a front blow-opening formed on the same side as a windshield is mainly sent to the left and right end portions of the windshield and a current of air from a rear blow-opening adjacent to the front blow-opening and formed further inside the vehicle interior than the front blow-opening is mainly sent to the central portion of the windshield. Accordingly, currents of air are inhibited from interfering with each other.

  • Patent number: 8714290
Abstract: A grille shutter device selectively opening and closing a grille opening in the front grille of a vehicle. The grille shutter device includes a fin, a motor, a transmission mechanism, a first switch, and a second switch. The fin has a support shaft, which is rotatably supported by the front grille. When supplied with electricity, the motor rotates its output shaft in one direction. The transmission mechanism converts the rotation of the output shaft to a swinging motion of the fin, thereby swinging the fin between a closed position, where the fin closes the grille opening, and an open position, where the fin opens the grille opening. When the fin is swung to the closed position, the first switch stops the motor. When the fin is swung to the open position, the second switch stops the motor.

  • Publication number: 20140120826
Abstract: An air conditioning register is provided that includes a case, a downstream fin, a specific upstream fin extending in a direction perpendicular to the downstream fin, and an operation knob. The specific upstream fin includes a fin main body pivotally supported by the case via an upstream fin shaft and a transmission body pivotally supported by the case via a pivot located further upstream than the upstream fin shaft. The fin main body and the transmission body are coupled to each other. The operation knob is mounted slidably on the downstream fin and includes a pair of fork portions sandwiching a transmission shaft portion of the transmission body therebetween. When the operation knob is operated to slide and thereby the transmission shaft portion is moved, the fin main body of the specific upstream fin is tilted.

  • Patent number: 8480121
Abstract: An automobile airbag door is formed by a door base member, a door cover member, and a tear line. The door base member and the door cover member form a part of a base member and a part of a cover member of an instrument panel, respectively. When pressed by an airbag being deployed and inflated, the door base member is torn from the tear line. The first zone is defined as the bonded part between the outer surface of the door base member and the door cover member which extends along the tear line and includes a part on which the tear line is projected. The second zones are on both sides of the first zone and extend along the tear line. The automobile airbag door has a mechanism that makes the bond strength in the first zone weaker than the bond strength in each second zone.

  • Publication number: 20130029582
Abstract: An air conditioner register for adjusting the direction of air is provided. The register includes a retainer, which defines an air duct therein, and a barrel, which is pivotally supported in the retainer. The retainer includes a rectangular air outlet of the duct. The barrel includes two or more long fins extending in the direction of long sides of the outlet. The long fins that are located closest to the long sides of the outlet, among the long fins located in the outlet when the barrel is in a neutral state, form a pair of main long fins. Walls of the retainer including the long sides of the outlet include bulging portions. When the barrel is tilted to a maximum tilt position of its movable range, one of the bulging portions is located close to the downstream end of the main long fin that leads in the tilt motion.
