  • Patent number: 6272368
Abstract: A medical installation, having an apparatus for acquiring the position of at least one object located in a room, also has a light transmitter for emitting a light fan and a camera for acquiring at least one object. The signals of the camera are supplied to an evaluation unit that generates 3D data on the basis of these signals corresponding to the at least one object that are utilized for avoiding collisions of the object.

  • Patent number: 5757884
Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic installation has a high-voltage generator for an X-ray tube for generating an X-ray beam, and an X-ray image transducer formed by a scintillator layer, a semiconductor layer with light-sensitive pixel elements arranged in a matrix, and an array of light-sensitive elements arranged in a matrix behind the semiconductor layer in the beam propagation direction. At least a part of the light-sensitive elements in the array acquires the X-ray dose as a detector, to which a measurement transducer is connected for controlling the high-voltage generator. The light-sensitive elements in the array can be light-emitting diodes for resetting residual charges of the pixel elements in the semiconductor by illumination of the image transducer.

  • Patent number: 4447827
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment has the purpose of representation of margins of organs, and comprises a television pickup system, a first image memory, a difference stage for providing subtraction images through difference formation from the stored and the current video signal, and a monitor. Connected with the output of the difference stage is an adder which is connected with a second image memory whose output signal is supplied to the adder so that, in the second image memory, the image point data of the difference stage is summed up. The output signal of the second image memory is supplied to the monitor. The circuit disposed between the first image memory and the adder is so designed that it forms the absolute values (.vertline.A.vertline.) of the image point data from the difference stage.

  • Patent number: 4433428
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment includes an x-ray image intensifier television chain, an image memory, and a subtraction device which subtracts the stored and the current video signals. A radiographic control device derives control pulses for controlling image storage from the EKG of the patient. A second image memory is connected with the output of the subtraction device. The radiographic control device is connected to both image memories and is designed in such a manner that it triggers the storage at selected different times during a heart cycle.

  • Patent number: 4071863
Abstract: In an illustrated embodiment a magnetic transducing system utilizes a short length of magnetic tape as an electronic image store. The magnetic tape is held in an arcuate loop configuration by means of an air cushion at the periphery of a rapidly rotating cylinder. The magnetic head or heads may rotate at the same rotational rate as the cylinder and scan along the inner side of the tape loop with essentially zero contact pressure, the tape being free of guiding means at its outer side except at its entrance point to the loop, and having a trailing free end slightly spaced from the entrance point. A cartridge may supply a length of magnetic tape approximately equal to the circumference of the cylinder to the system for a transducing operation and then rewind the tape for protected storage.
