  • Patent number: 9074345
Abstract: A reduction gear is mounted on a revolving frame, and an electric motor having an electric motor shaft is disposed on the reduction gear. A hydraulic motor having a shaft is disposed on an upper side of the electric motor. A shaft insertion hole through which an upper end side of the electric motor shaft is inserted is provided in a lid portion of an electric motor casing. A male spline portion provided on the hydraulic motor shaft is spline-coupled to a female spline portion provided on the electric motor shaft. A bearing is provided between the shaft insertion hole and the electric motor shaft, and a pressure tight seal is provided by being located upwardly of the bearing. Hence, spline coupling portions of the female spline portion and the male spline portion are constantly lubricated by making use of drain oil which has leaked from the hydraulic motor.

  • Publication number: 20060225940
Abstract: The present invention provides a construction machine adopting a structure that assures a predetermined sound pressure level along a forward direction relative to the construction machine and allows a warning horn to be miniaturized. Warning horns 12 and 13 are mounted in the vicinity of at least either a left headlamp 9 or a right headlamp 10 provided on the left side and the right side of a vehicle body 3 of the construction machine. The warning horns 12 and 13 are housed inside a bracket 11 used to mount the headlamp 9 or 10. The plurality of warning horns 12 and 13 are disposed on a single side toward the left headlamp 9 or the right headlamp 10. Since a front attachment 7 does not block the sound generated from the warning horns 12 and 13 and thus the warning sound can travel without hindrance along the forward direction, a predetermined sound pressure level is achieved with ease along the forward direction relative to the vehicle body 3.

  • Patent number: 6352133
Abstract: A lock mechanism (32) is constituted by a slide plate (36) with a slot (37) and a notched groove (39), and a lock pin (41) which is provided on the side of a console (24). Through the slot (37), the slide plate (36) is slidably supported on a couple of support projections (34) which are provided on the side of an operator's seat (7). By engaging the notched groove (39) with the lock pin (41), the console (24) is locked in an operating position. When an entrance gating lever (29) is manipulated by an operator, the slide plate (36) is pulled by a push-pull cable (43) to slide in a rearward direction against the action of a tension spring (42). Whereupon, the notched groove (39) is disengaged from the lock pin (41), and the console (24) is swung back into an upturned position by the action of a gas spring (28).
