  • Publication number: 20020026738
Abstract: A peel-off/break structure of a display label is designed so that it is broken during peeling-off in order to prevent the display label from being peeled off and reused. The display label can be broken during peeling-off, irrespective of an adhesive force of the display label to a surface, and thus prevented from being reused. Weakened portions are provided on a display label having a self-adhesive applied to its back at points spaced inwards apart from an outer peripheral edge of the display label, so that a breaking force is concentrated, when a peeling-off force is applied to the display label affixed to a surface. The weakened portions are comprised of a plurality of cut lines made in a connected pattern to extend in directions intersecting one another.

  • Patent number: 5860403
Abstract: An oil reservoir chamber 22 in an engine E is formed into a tubular shape having annular corner portions 22a and 22b at opposite ends, and an oil slinger 25 is secured to a crankshaft 13 and has two splashing blades 25a and 25b with their tip ends being in proximity to the corner portions 22a and 22b, so that a lubricating oil in the oil reservoir chamber 22 is splashed by at least one of the two splashing blades 25a and 25b during rotation of the oil slinger 25 with any operative position of the engine E. Thus, a lubricating oil mist can be produced with any operative position of the engine E by the oil slinger of a simple structure including the two blades.

  • Patent number: 5301641
Abstract: An air-cooled internal combustion engine has a cylinder block, a piston slidably disposed in a cylinder in the cylinder block, and a cylinder head mounted on the cylinder block and having a partly spherical combustion chamber aligned with the cylinder. An intake valve, an exhaust valve, and a spark plug which are mounted in the cylinder head are oriented radially outwardly from the axis of the cylinder and angularly spaced from each other by distances that are progressively increased in the direction along the axis of the cylinder. The intake valve, the exhaust valve, and the spark plug have respective central axes inclined at the same angle to the axis of the cylinder, and the intake valve, the exhaust valve, and the spark plug are angularly spaced at equal angular intervals as viewed along the axis of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4726330
Abstract: A fuel and lubricating oil mixing system designed primarily for two-cycle engines. Lubricating oil and fuel are stored in separate containers and mixed prior to entering the carburetor. Fuel flow is monitored by flow detector which relays information to a control unit. This unit in turn controls valves and pumps, mounted on both lubricating oil and fuel lines, in order to maintain a preferred mixture ratio regardless of engine speed or fuel flow rate. Such control ratio makes possible maximum convenience and performance with minimum engine wear.

  • Patent number: 4616608
Abstract: An engine for a small vehicle of the two-stroke type having a separate balance chamber with a wall between the crankshaft chamber and the balance chamber. The balancer includes weights whose path of rotation are displaced to either side of the path of rotation of the crankweight. The intermediate wall between chambers includes three sections to accommodate the path of travel of the balancer weights to either side of the crank weights.

  • Patent number: 4535866
Abstract: A three-wheeled motor vehicle including one steerable front wheel, two rear wheels serving as driving wheels, a fuel tank disposed on an upper portion of a frame, a seat disposed behind the fuel tank, and an engine mounted below the fuel tank. The above engine is a water-cooled engine. A cylinder portion of the engine is disposed on the rear side in the longitudinal direction of a case portion of the engine which case portion underlies the cylinder portion, and a radiator is disposed within a space formed in front of the cylinder portion. By the above arrangement, a large space is ensured in front of the cylinder portion without the need to enlarge the longitudinal size of the three-wheeled motor vehicle, and cooling devices can be disposed within such space.
