  • Publication number: 20020036701
Abstract: The imaging device displays an image under imaging at present and also past images picked up before it on the display means, thus at the time of continuous imaging, even when the next imaging is started immediately after end of imaging, an image after the framing process is displayed, for example, as an image picked up just prior, so that the imaging condition, for example, whether closing of eyes is caused in the image picked up already can be checked. Therefore, the next imaging can be started without waiting for the time required for the framing process after imaging, so that the imaging can be speeded up.

  • Publication number: 20020020278
Abstract: There is disclosed a damper for a grand piano, which is simple in construction and can be manufactured at reduced costs by reducing the number of components, the number of assembling steps, and the number of adjustment operations. A damper for a grand piano moves out of contact with strings in a manner interlocked with operation of a damper pedal, to thereby create a damper pedal effect. A plurality of damper levers each have a rear end portion thereof pivotally mounted to the damper rail and each extend forward. Each damper head is connected to the upper side of a corresponding one of the plurality of damper levers and brought out of contact with a corresponding one of the strings as the corresponding damper lever moves upward. A lifting rail is arranged below the plurality of damper levers, for pivotally moving the plurality of damper levers upward simultaneously by being pushed upward when the damper pedal is operated.

  • Patent number: 5886684
Abstract: A micromanipulator system has a stepper motor driven at a microstep, and having a stepping angle which is subdivided in units of a predetermined reference subdivision. A micromanipulator moves an instrument by the stepper motor, and an input device inputs either a moving speed of the fine instrument or a moving position thereof. A present position calculating device calculates a present position of the stepper motor in a virtual subdivision unit which is obtained by subdividing the reference subdivision unit to a preselected subdivision number. A speed calculating device calculates a drive speed of the stepper motor based either on the moving speed or the moving position, which are entered from the input device. An output pulse setting device determines a target output pulse, and an energizing signal outputting device energizes the stepper motor in response to the target output pulse.

  • Patent number: 5505827
Abstract: An electrolyte such as a saturated picric acid solution in a cell for measuring electrochemical polarization is placed in contact with an alloy steel such as a CrMoV steel which has been subjected to a high-temperature and stress-applied condition, and a potential is swept between the CrMoV steel and a salt bridge in the cell, whereby the Mo-rich carbide M.sub.6 C undergoes a dissolution reaction at a potential near a specified value and this reaction is visible as the secondary anode peak current, or the second appearance of peak current on the waveform of electric polarization. Since the secondary anode peak current is closely related to the amount of M.sub.6 C precipitation, the progress of degradation in the CrMoV steel can be evaluated by a simple method with good precision.

  • Patent number: 5204526
Abstract: A magnetic marker has a plurality of thin strips or wires of saturatable magnetic material having square .phi.-H characteristics and coercive forces different from each other. Amorphous magnetic material may be used. When the marker is subjected to magnetization reversal by an external magnetic field, variations of magnetic flux corresponding to a plurality of magnetization reversals can be chronologically detected as a voltage pulse train by detecting coils. By processing this voltage pulse train, a pattern can be made, recognized, so that the magnetic marker effectively identifies the kind of article to which it is attached. A magnetic marker reading and identifying apparatus has a plurality of exciting coils for producing a rotating magnetic field, with the axis of at least one of the exciting coils being orthogonal to the axis of at least one other exciting coil. • Patent number: 5175419
Abstract: An identification method using a magnetic marker including a plurality of amorphous magnetic, thin wires or thin bands which have highly rectangular hysteresis curves and different coercive forces, and are disposed in a parallel fashion with a predetermined separation each other. The magnetic marker is attached to an article passing through the alternating magnetic field. This induces a temporal pulse train in a detection coil, which serves to identify the magnetic marker and therefore the article by pattern recognition of the pulse train. An instrumentation unit stores in advance the occurrence time of each pulse when the magnetic marker passes through the alternating magnetic field with the standard maximum value, and the stored occurrence time (phase) of each pulse is adopted as the reference. A magnetic marker, is identified by passing the marker through a first alternating magnetic field to produce a first pulse train corresponding to the magnetic thin wires or bands.
