  • Publication number: 20070191211
Abstract: A dielectric ceramic composition comprising a main component including BaTiO3, a fourth subcomponent including an oxide of R1 (note that R1 is at least one selected from Y, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu) and a fifth subcomponent including an oxide of R2 (note that R2 is at least one selected from Dy, Tb, Gd and Eu); wherein a total number of moles of R1 and R2 with respect to 100 moles of the main component is 2 to 6 moles when calculated as a conversion of the R1 and a conversion of the R2, and a ratio of the fifth subcomponent to the total number of moles of R1 and R2 with respect to 100 moles of the main component is in a relationship of 0.5?R2/(R1+R2)?0.75 when calculated as a conversion of the R1 and a conversion of the R2. According to the present invention, a high temperature load lifetime and capacity-temperature characteristics can be well balanced even when the dielectric layer of the electronic device is made thin, so that a sufficiently reliable dielectric ceramic composition can be provided.

  • Patent number: 5682674
Abstract: A plurality of dielectric sheets are laminated and bonded together to constitute a laminated board. A plurality of strip-shaped resonance electrodes are formed in parallel on a predetermined bonding face of the dielectric sheets, and the strip-shaped resonance electrodes reach opposite edges of the laminated board. Recesses are formed by locally cutting out the portions of the edges of the laminated board in which the respective resonance electrodes are exposed at their particular ends. Grounding electrodes are respectively formed on the obverse and reverse faces of the laminated board, and edge grounding electrodes are formed in the portions of the opposite edges of the laminated board except for the recess.

  • Patent number: 5621365
Abstract: In a laminated dielectric resonator and filter having a folded microstrip line type resonator structure, an internal-to-external grounding conductor distance within which an open-end-side internal conductor pattern is disposed is selected to be shorter than an internal-to-external grounding conductor distance within which a short-circuit-side internal conductor pattern is disposed. In this constitution, since the front end of the resonator structure is loaded with a capacity, the resonance frequency is lowered so that it is possible to provide a resonator having a reduced longitudinal resonator size with respect to the same resonance frequency. In addition, since the resonator has no steps, manufacture and mounting are easy. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the sizes of the laminated dielectric resonator and filter to a further extent, whereby it is possible to reduce a resonator or filter mounting area in a device.

  • Patent number: 4808443
Abstract: An aqueous overcoating composition which is able to adhere strongly to an oil-based ink printed on a sheet, enhances the film properties of the oil-based ink as to, for example, gloss, rub resistance and the like, prevents offset and blocking occurring at the time of stacking and the like after printing, and strikingly improves setting and drying of the oil-based ink so that it is possible to start the ensuing work of the after-treatments of printed matter. The composition is coated in a thin film on a wet sheet surface just printed with an oil-based ink, on a printing press or in a printing operation.
