  • Patent number: 7472425
Abstract: A service provider makes requests to an information processing center for processing for an IC card in card command units. The information processing center issues encrypted card commands that can be interpreted by the IC card itself based on requests received from the service provider and sends these to the IC card via the computer network, client, and card reader/writer device. This enables an IC card connected to a client to be accessed using secure communication.

  • Patent number: 7142151
Abstract: In order to magnetically shield the transmission line which connects the external connector mounted on the outer housing with the internal circuit and also to make it possible to freely mount the external connector without being limited by the position of the internal circuit, an outer housing 60 consists of an outer housing main body 61 and a shielding layer 62 applied to the inner-periphery surface of the outer housing 60. An transmission line 73 extends from the internal circuit through the outer-periphery side of the shielding layer 62 of the outer housing 60 along the shielding layer 62 to the desired position, where the external connector 70 is placed.

  • Patent number: 7126525
Abstract: A millimeter-wave radar has a radome or radar cover including a layer, the dielectric constant of which is a greater than that of the other portion without the layer, or including a magnetic loss layer in an appropriate position with respect to the antenna. The dielectric constant of the radome or radar cover can be made higher in a portion corresponding to the side of the antenna than in a portion corresponding to the front of the antenna.

  • Patent number: 6937184
Abstract: A millimeter wave radar for the purpose of automatic operation or collision prevention of a vehicle which solves the problem that a side lobe of a transmitted electromagnetic wave is reflected by surrounding bodies and the reflected wave is received, with the result that unnecessary bodies may also be detected. A layer higher in dielectric loss than a radome or a magnetic loss layer and a conductor layer in a mesh form are embedded in a part of the inside surface of the radome, whereby it is possible to provide a millimeter wave radar which is light in weight, excellent in weathering performance, inexpensive, and excellent in detection performance.

  • Patent number: 6885335
Abstract: An antenna base, a control circuit section, and a high-frequency circuit section are enclosed in an inner space defined by a housing and a radome. Inside this inner space, the control circuit section and the high-frequency circuit section are surrounded by the antenna base and the housing. A circuit GND common to the control circuit section and the high-frequency circuit section is electrically connected to the antenna base and the housing, and it is connected to a body GND through only capacitive impedance.
