  • Patent number: 7594613
Abstract: The 2-dimensional code formation method of this invention comprises: a process of specifying the code size for 2-dimensional code; a process of specifying storage information to be written in the 2-dimensional code; a process of setting the cell size for the unit cell of the 2-dimensional code; a process of specifying the dot step size or the number of dots n x m (where n and m are natural numbers) arranged vertically and horizontally inside the unit cell; a process of creating laser-marking information based on the code size, storage information, cell size and step size or number of dots; and a process of performing laser marking of the 2-dimensional code based on that laser-marking information.

  • Patent number: 5866669
Abstract: A method for the improvement of yield and freeness which does not discolor the paper product and gives a long life to the product and exerts stable yield improving effect even for the paper stuff containing much deinked pulp and filler as well as a yield improving promotor used in this method are provided. In the method for the improvement of yield and freeness in the paper-making process and the waste water treating process according to the present invention, a special phenol resin is used in combination with polyethylene oxide (PEO). The phenol resin of the present invention is a sulfonated phenol-formaldehyde resin synthesized by sulfonating a phenol and then condensing it with formaldehyde. Preferred as the phenol to be sulfonated are Bisphenol A and Bisphenol S.By using the method of the present invention, the yields of fine fiber and filler can be improved and the paper stuffs can be saved and the waste water treating load can be decreased.

  • Patent number: 5714534
Abstract: A resin composition having excellent antistatic properties is provided which comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a styrene resin, (B) 3 to 35 parts by weight of a polyethylene oxide, (C) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a styrene-acrylonitrile-hydroxyalkyl acrylate copolymer and/or a styrene-acrylonitrile-hydroxyalkyl methacrylate copolymer, (D) 4 to 100 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylic ester polymer, and/or an oxide selected from the group consisting of titanium oxide, zinc oxide and magnesium oxide, the oxide being present in an amount of 0.7 to 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the combined amount of components (A) and (B), and (E) a surface-active agent comprising a specified sulfonic acid salt or alkylsulfuric acid salt, the surface-active agent being present in an amount of 0.4 to 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the combined amount of components (A), (B), (C) and (D). This resin composition can be used for general household articles including, for example, wardrobe cases.

  • Patent number: 4702554
Abstract: A coated optical fiber comprising an optical fiber for transmitting information having coated thereon a ring-opened (co)polymer of a norbornene derivative having a polar group. Due to the excellent moldability of the polymer, the coated optical fiber can be produced with high productivity. Even when the coated optical fiber is produced at high speeds, the molding strain on the coating is small, and the coated optical fiber has a reduced heat shrinkage.
