Abstract: A method for generating a superframe preamble for a superframe in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing network is provided. The superframe preamble comprises a plurality of symbols. For a first one of the symbols, a first set of subcarriers of a carrier is allocated to a first broadcast channel, with the first set of subcarriers distributed over substantially the entire carrier. For the first one of the symbols, a second set of subcarriers of the carrier is allocated to a second broadcast channel.

Abstract: A method for loading a pourable material in a container, the material being supplied by gravity forces through a channel which is arranged in the opening of the container. In order to obtain a desired material distribution in the container, the material, a little bit before the passage thereof through the opening, i.e. inside the channel, is exposed to forces modifying the displacement direction of the material given by the channel and the gravity forces.

The method includes (a) requesting permission to transmit data using an access channel; (b) in response to receiving a permission message from the wireless network, transmitting the data from the mobile station to the wireless network over a control channel using a modulation and channel coding scheme determined in the wireless network, and communicated to mobile station in the permission message; and (c) in response to receiving the transmitted data at the wireless network, soft combining the received data with previously received data, if any, until a desired decoding result is achieved, and transmitting an acknowledgment of data reception to the mobile station. The steps of transmitting and receiving preferably use a code division, multiple access technique.
