  • Publication number: 20240056153
Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a network entity to configure and a UE to transmit subband CSI reports in full duplex slots. Initially, the UE receives a CSI report configuration indicating a plurality of CSI subbands of at least one bandwidth part BWP. Subsequently, the UE receives a CSI-RS in a slot associated with a full duplex mode, the slot being further associated with a frequency band including a downlink subband and an uplink subband. Afterwards, the UE transmits a CSI report, where the CSI report includes first CSI associated with the CSI-RS for a first one of the CSI subbands overlapping in frequency with the downlink subband, and the CSI report lacks second CSI for a second one of the CSI subbands overlapping in frequency with the uplink subband.

  • Patent number: 11902816
Abstract: In a wireless network, a base station may configure a victim user equipment (UE) experiencing interference with a periodic measurement resource using Layer 3 (L3) signaling, and the UE may report cross-link interference (CLI) measurements to the base station using L3 messages. However, using L3 signaling to configure interference measurement and reporting may result in an inflexible interference measurement configuration and a long latency to report CLI and/or self-interference feedback. Furthermore, although Layer 1 and/or Layer 2 (L1/L2) CLI reporting may be more suitable to track and adapt to dynamic changes in interference conditions, L1/L2 signaling increases control signaling and CLI management overhead at the base station. Accordingly, some aspects described herein relate to an adaptive L3 CLI measurement and reporting framework, where L3 messages may include one or more adaptive fields to support flexibility in configuring CLI measurement and/or CLI reporting parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240048343
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) may receive a first message that indicates one or more resource allocation parameters associated with a bandwidth part (BWP). The one or more resource allocation parameters may include an indication of a first available resource block of the BWP, an indication of an effective size of the BWP, or both. The UE may then receive a second message that indicates a resource allocation for communicating with a network entity via the BWP during a transmission time interval (TTI). The UE may then communicate with the network entity during the transmission time interval in accordance with the resource allocation and based on applying the one or more resource allocation parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240048342
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit control signaling scheduling a downlink transmission to a user equipment (UE) across multiple bandwidth parts (BWPs) and an indication of a code block group (CBG)-based mapping for the downlink transmission. A transport block (TB) of the downlink transmission may include multiple code block groups (CBGs) that are mapped across the BWPs. The UE may monitor for the TB across the BWPs based on the CBG mapping. For example, the UE may determine the CBGs are mapped across different BWPs based on the cross-BWP CBG mapping. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine each CBG is mapped within one BWP based on the cross-BWP CBG BWPs mapping. The UE may calculate a TB size based on available time and frequency resources and may decode the TB based on calculating the TB size and the cross-BWP CBG mapping.

  • Publication number: 20240048299
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating a frequency hopping configuration for repetitions of an uplink message that are to be transmitted via a set of resources, including one or more resources that support full-duplex communications. The UE may determine that some resources of the set of resources are available for transmitting the repetitions in a time domain.
