  • Patent number: 12199780
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate over multiple component carriers (CCs). The UE may receive control signaling indicating a joint feedback codebook configuration for jointly reporting feedback for a first CC, a second CC, and a virtual CC that may be mapped to a third CC and a fourth CC. The CE may then receive downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a first downlink transmission via the first CC and a second downlink transmission on the second CC, or both downlink transmissions may be scheduled via the virtual CC. The UE may transmit a joint feedback message for the first CC, the second CC, and the virtual CC based on the joint codebook configuration.

  • Patent number: 12199908
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives signaling configuring the UE with a control resource set (CORESET) activated with two transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE further receives a downlink control information (DCI) triggering transmission of aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reference signals (RSs) on aperiodic CSI-RS resources. The UE applies a quasi-colocation (QCL) assumption of at least one of the two TCI states for processing the aperiodic CSI-RSs, when a scheduling time offset is less than a threshold value and depending on whether same or different aperiodic CSI-RS resources are received from two transmission reception points (TRPs) associated.

  • Patent number: 12199911
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described in which a user equipment (UE) may transmit one or more uplink communications to multiple transmission-reception points (TRPs). Transmission parameters for each repetition may be based on parameters (e.g., a number of antenna ports, a spatial domain filter or beam, a rank or number of layers, or any combinations thereof) that are determined from an indication of whether the repetitions are to use different sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets, and indicated SRS resource of each SRS resource set. The indication may include a same number of bits regardless of whether one SRS resource set is used or multiple SRS resource sets are used, and may be based on a prior configuration of the UE.

  • Patent number: 12200716
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods for transmissions and retransmissions over a configured grant (CG) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and for transmissions over physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources in multi-transmission and reception point (TRP) deployments. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling configuring a first set of power control parameters and a second set of power control parameters for a CG-PUSCH resource. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive signaling activating a first closed-loop power control operation and a second closed-loop power control operation for a PUCCH resource. In some scenarios, the UE may receive a fallback downlink control information (DCI) format activating or scheduling the CG-PUSCH resource or indicating the PUCCH resource. In such scenarios, the UE may employ one or both of a power control selection rule or a transmit power control (TPC) command application rule for a transmission over the CG-PUSCH resource or the PUCCH resource.

  • Publication number: 20250016872
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE). The UE may receive a configuration from a base station (BS). The configuration may indicate transmission parameters associated with different symbols such as sub-band full duplex (SBFD) symbols and non-SBFD symbols. For example, the transmission parameters may indicate power control parameters (e.g., a received power target value, a power control factor value, a closed-loop power control value) and a unified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) (e.g., a joint uplink and downlink TCI state, separate uplink and downlink TCI states). The UE may transmit uplink transmissions to the BS, in accordance with the transmission parameters.

  • Patent number: 12192968
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, which may be otherwise known as user equipment (UE) may support repetition of physical downlink control channels (PDCCH) and handling a combined PDCCH candidate associated with multiple search space sets. For example, a UE may combine a first PDCCH candidate corresponding to a first search space set and a second PDCCH candidate corresponding to a second search space set to form a combined PDCCH candidate. The UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate based on one or more factors, for example, such as a blind decoding PDCCH candidate threshold. As a result, the UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate in addition to decoding of individual PDCCH candidates, thereby providing increased flexibility for downlink control information (DCI) and improving the reliability of PDCCH.

  • Patent number: 12193017
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive signaling scheduling a first set repetitions of a first uplink shared channel transmission associated with a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set and a second set of repetitions of a second uplink shared channel transmission associated with a second SRS resource set. The UE may receive a request to transmit one or more channel state information (CSI) reports and an indication that the CSI reports are to be multiplexed with one of the first set of repetitions or the second set of repetitions or with both of the first and second set of repetitions. • Publication number: 20240430978
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for linking downlink control information candidates across multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs) with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) operations. A user equipment (UE) may determine a linkage status of linked downlink control information candidates across multiple TRPs with DTX operations. The UE may determine the linkage status based on a DTX status of the first TRP or a DTX status of the second TRP. When the DTX status of the first TRP or the second TRP is activated, the UE may determine the linkage status is a broken linkage. The UE may determine the linkage status as the broken linkage if one of the downlink control information candidates is within an inactive duration of a DTX cycle. The UE may determine the linkage status as the maintained linkage or broken linkage based on DCI format.

  • Patent number: 12177887
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for handling hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes with discontinuous reception (DRX) operations. A user equipment (UE) may use timers to maintain an ON duration in DRX. The UE may receive, via downlink control information (DCI), an indication of a feedback transmission opportunity (TxOP) for a HARQ process. The UE may activate a timer at the end of the TxOP regardless of whether the UE transmits feedback in the TxOP to ensure that the UE remains active. In some implementations, a base station may provide the UE with multiple opportunities to transmit a feedback message. The UE may reactivate a timer after each feedback TxOP for the same HARQ process or may activate the timer after the first feedback TxOP and may refrain from activating the timer after subsequent feedback TxOPs for the HARQ process.
