    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may communicate on first and second carriers, and may support either two transmit chains or three transmit chains on a second carrier. A base station may configure different sounding reference signal (SRS) resources for different numbers of transmit chains. SRS resources configured with two ports may indicate two transmit chains, and SRS resource configured with three ports may indicate three transmit chains. The base station may indicate an index associated with an SRS resource, and the UE may select (e.g., based on a mapping between the SRS Configuration Information resource index and a number of SRS ports and a number of transmit chains), a corresponding SRS resource, number of ports, number of transmit chains, or any combination thereof. The base station may indicate a number of transmit chains for a given SRS resource based on a PMI index.

    Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a base station to provide CSI report configurations and a UE to provide CSI reports in response to such configurations which account for a power savings mode of the base station. While in the power savings mode, the base station may deactivate one or more of its antenna panels or sub-panels to reduce energy expenditure, for example, while performing dynamic antenna port adaptation. To account for this antenna port deactivation, the base station may send a CSI report configuration to a UE including one or more measurement resource sets associated with the power savings mode. The UE may obtain the CSI report configuration and send a CSI report to the base station in response to a CSI measurement in the one or more measurement resource sets.

A UE may measure interference components in the CSI-IM resources and generate/transmit a CLI report comprising the measurement of the interference components to the base station. The measurement of interference components may include an RSSI measurement of intra-cell CLI from an interfering uplink signal transmitted from an aggressor UE or a self-interference from an uplink channel of the UE. The uplink signal may be an SRS, and the CLI report may include the RSSI, an RSRP, and/or an RSRQ of the interference in the CSI-IM resources in the uplink channel. The CSI-IM resources and the CLI report may have various configurations.

Phase continuity may be maintained across SRS transmissions over multiple SRS occasions to enable a receiver to jointly process these SRS transmissions. In some examples, a user equipment may expect to be configured with SRS transmissions over multiple SRS occasions where SRS configurations for different SRS transmissions over different SRS occasions specify the same parameters. For example, a first SRS configuration for a first SRS transmission over a first SRS occasion may specify a first set of spatial relation information. In addition, a second SRS configuration for a second SRS transmission over a second SRS occasion may specify that same first set of spatial relation information. In this way, phase continuity may be maintained between the first SRS transmission over the first SRS occasion and the second SRS transmission over the second SRS occasion.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives a configuration of a first plurality of subbands having different sizes for channel state information (CSI) reporting. The configuration is for a bandwidth part configured for subband full duplexing with an uplink subband. A size of the subbands in the first plurality of subbands decreases closer in frequency to the uplink subband. The UE transmit a reduced CSI report payload including a plurality of CSI values, the reduced CSI report payload having fewer bits than a size of an absolute CSI value times a number of subbands in the first plurality of subbands. The UE may reduce the number of bits in the CSI report payload using differential CSI values instead of absolute CSI values, reporting CSI values for only a subset of the subbands, or using a fallback subband configuration with equal sized subbands.
