  • Publication number: 20240306036
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and/or a network entity may apply rate matching for a scheduled data transmission in a subband full duplex (SBFD) time resource or may adjust the transport block size (TBS) for the scheduled data transmission when some of the allocated resource blocks (RBs) for a data transmission are unavailable because they are in a guard band or in a subband in the opposite direction of the scheduled data transmission (e.g., an uplink subband for a downlink data transmission or a downlink subband for an uplink data transmission). In some examples, the network may indicate to the UE whether to rate match or adjust the TBS for a transmission in an SBFD time resource.

  • Publication number: 20240298198
Abstract: A victim user equipment (UE) may experience cross-link interference (CLI) from transmissions from an aggressor UE. The present disclosure provides for configuration of a CLI report that accurately characterizes the CLI experienced by the victim UE. A base station may transmit to the victim UE, a configuration for CLI reporting associated with one or more channel state information interference measurement (CSI-IM) resources. The victim UE may generate a CLI report based on the configuration for CLI reporting and the CSI-IM resources. The victim UE may transmit the CLI report to the base station. The base station may use the CLI report to mitigate the CLI, for example, by scheduling the aggressor UE and the victim UE to reduce CLI experienced by the victim UE.

  • Patent number: 12082169
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication. A method by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving scheduling information from a network entity. The scheduling information schedules transmission of a first uplink (UL) channel repetition of a plurality of UL channel repetitions in a first full duplex (FD) slot of a plurality of slots. Additionally, the first UL channel repetition is associated with one or more time domain resource allocations (TDRAs) and one or more frequency domain resource allocations (FDRAs). Additionally, based on the one or more FDRAs associated with the first UL channel repetition, a portion of the first UL channel repetition is scheduled to occur in a downlink subband of the first FD slot. The method also includes taking one or more actions to transmit the first UL channel repetition based on the scheduling information.

  • Patent number: 12081337
Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein provide reporting of multiple feedbacks for a same transport block (TB) or a same code block group (CBG) of a signal, such as a physical downlink shared channel. Thus, in case of a failure to decode a signal via a first set of antennas, a user equipment (UE) can perform a second decoding attempt via a second set of antennas (before or after transmitting first feedback). The UE may report a result of the first decoding attempt in a first feedback, and may report a result of the second decoding attempt in a second feedback. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein also provide soft feedback (e.g., information other than a binary acknowledgment (ACK) or negative ACK (NACK)) for a transmission, such as information indicating whether a second attempt to decode the transmission is likely to be successful.

  • Publication number: 20240292400
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Various aspects relate generally to hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) identifier determination associated with cross-link interference (CLI) measurements. Some aspects more specifically relate to handling of HARQ identifier determinations for communications that are dropped due to collision with a CLI measurement. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and/or a network node may skip an increment of a value of a HARQ identifier for communications that are dropped due to collisions with CLI measurements. Where the scheduling information indicates or is associated with a single HARQ identifier, the UE and/or the network node may not increment the HARQ identifier for communications, from the multiple communications, that are dropped because of a collision with a CLI measurement.

  • Publication number: 20240291537
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to transmission of a single CSI report that includes time domain channel information obtained from a plurality of CSI-RSs received by a UE over time. For example, each of the CSI-RSs may be associated with a different respective time resource (e.g., each CSI-RS is received at a different respective time). The UE may obtain a plurality of CSI values based on the plurality of CSI-RSs and generate the time domain channel information from the plurality of CSI values. In some examples, the time domain channel information includes the plurality of CSI values. In other examples, the time domain channel information includes compressed channel information based on the plurality of CSI values. A base station may then utilize the time domain channel information included in the CSI report for scheduling downlink data transmissions to the UE.
