  • Publication number: 20140119705
Abstract: A strain relief device having a first U-like shaped basic body having first and second opposite lateral walls connected to a second U-like shaped basic body having first and second opposite lateral walls by a film hinge integral with the first and second basic bodies. Wherein the second lateral wall of the second U-like shaped basic body has a recess, wherein the protrusion is insertable into the recess by a film hinge. The first and second basic bodies pivot with respect to each other to transfer the strain relief device between an opened installation state and a closed operation state. The first and second U-like shaped basic bodies releasably lock in the closed state and define in the closed operation state a feed-through channel for a cable to be strain relieved.

  • Publication number: 20140117946
Abstract: A system and method for charging a battery in a plug-in electric vehicle. In an exemplary embodiment, the method determines if a delayed battery charging feature is active and if the battery is severely depleted. If both conditions are satisfied, the method enables a priority charging feature that temporarily overrides the delayed charging feature and begins charging the battery according to a priority charging process until it reaches a level where it is no longer severely depleted. At this point, the method may terminate the priority charging process and initiate the delayed charging process, which is designed to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates, anticipated times of vehicle use, etc.

  • Patent number: 8707579
Abstract: In a method for operating an adsorption dryer, a process air flow, generated by at least one blower, is routed at least at times through an adsorption apparatus and over a textile goods in care during a textile care process in a “dry” operating mode to thereby charge a reversibly dehydratable adsorbent of the adsorption apparatus with moisture. A charge state of the adsorbent with water is detected and is displayed at least after the end of the “drying” textile care process. The absorbent is desorbed at least in part during a subsequent, selected and started textile care process in a “refresh” operating mode, and the desorbed moisture is routed as a moist process air flow into a receptacle for refreshing textile goods which are stored or hung in a stationary manner.
