  • Publication number: 20210042738
Abstract: A device may determine that transaction account information, associated with a transaction account associated with a user, is to be updated. The device may identify a merchant account that is configured to use the transaction account for a transaction associated with the user and a merchant, and navigate, using a navigation model, a merchant portal associated with the merchant, to access the merchant account. The device may perform, using the navigation model and login credentials for the merchant account, a login operation to access the merchant account via the merchant portal, wherein the login credentials are stored in a credential mapping that indicates an authorization to update the transaction account information to permit the transaction account information to be used in association with the merchant account. The device may update, using the navigation model, a transaction setting of the merchant account to include updated transaction account information for the transaction account.

  • Publication number: 20210035105
Abstract: Systems and methods involving computer-based processing for proactively reducing false-positive fraud detection incidents are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary computer-implemented method may comprise: detecting when a subject online transaction matches criteria indicating it is unusual; operating a browser extension application to obtain UI image data and purchase details of an item purchased by a user during the unusual online transaction; evaluating historical transactions of the user to identify a potentially fraudulent online transaction; and executing a false-positive detection routine to determine if the potentially fraudulent online transaction is valid.

  • Publication number: 20210027394
Abstract: A system for crowdsourcing annotations for transactions includes a crowdsourcing annotation database and a processor. The database stores crowdsourced annotations associated with merchants. The crowdsourced annotations are shared among, and contributed by, users of a community. The processor receives transaction data for a transaction by a user with a merchant. Relevant crowdsourced annotations associated with the merchant are retrieved from the database and sent to the user to enable to the user to annotate the transaction. The user provides an annotation for the transaction. The system dynamically updates the database based on the annotation provided by the user. In another aspect a transaction prediction system is disclosed. The system receives transaction data and identifies text on a check image associated with the transaction data. The system identifies a recurring expense and associated expense frequency, and may generate an expense warning or suggestion to execute a check to pay the expense.

  • Patent number: 10885143
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may detect loading of a first web page associated with a domain, and may create an inline frame element that references a second web page associated with the domain. The second web page may require an authenticated user session to access particular content of the second web page. The device may insert the inline frame element into code for the first web page, and may transmit a request for the second web page based on inserting the inline frame element into the code for the first web page. The device may receive a response to the request for the second web page, and may determine whether there is an authenticated user session for the domain based on the response. The device may selectively perform an action based on determining whether there is an authenticated user session for the domain.

  • Publication number: 20200402114
Abstract: A device, that is part of a network of nodes that has access to a blockchain, may receive, from a user device associated with an entity, a request for campaign information for a campaign. The request may include data identifying campaign parameters. The device may interact with smart contracts associated with the blockchain to identify individuals to target for the campaign. The smart contracts may be configured to receive the campaign parameters as input and to output an indication of whether campaign preferences are compatible with the campaign parameters. The device may generate the campaign information to include information identifying the individuals targeted for the campaign and information identifying particular campaign preferences found to be compatible with particular campaign parameters. The device may provide the campaign information to the user device to permit the user device to use the campaign information to target the individuals for the campaign.

  • Patent number: 10839398
Abstract: A method for providing a gift includes receiving a gift token creation request representative of a selection of a gift recipient and gift limitations from a first computing device. The method includes generating a tokenized PAN associated with a gift account and transmitting the tokenized PAN and gift limitations to a second computing device. The method includes detecting a transaction authorization request that is representative of an attempted transaction at a merchant POS device based on monitoring of transaction authorization data originating from a plurality of merchant POS devices. The transaction authorization request represents an attempted tokenized PAN, an attempted transaction amount and a merchant code. The method includes determining that the attempted tokenized PAN matches the tokenized PAN associated with the gift account.

  • Patent number: 10795975
Abstract: A node, of a network of nodes with access to a distributed ledger, receives a request to verify the user has consented to a current version of terms (i.e., current terms) associated with a program. The node obtains, using the distributed ledger, historical consent data indicating a version of the terms to which the user has previously provided consent. The node performs a first verification procedure to determine the user has not consented to the current terms, provides an indication to a user device that the user has not consented to the current terms, and receives, from the user device, a message indicating an acceptance of the current terms. The node performs additional verification procedures to determine that the user is who consented to the current terms and updates the distributed ledger to include a record indicating that the user consented to the current terms.

  • Publication number: 20200272313
Abstract: A device identifies one or more user interface elements, in a user interface, associated with a fixed positioning characteristic and not positioned within another user interface element with the fixed positioning characteristic. The device repositions the one or more user interface elements in the user interface to vacate space for a new user interface element based on a size of the new user interface element and forgo repositioning one or more other user interface elements in the user interface that do not have the fixed positioning characteristic or are positioned within another user interface element with the fixed positioning characteristic. The device inserts the new user interface element into the user interface in a portion of the user interface vacated in connection with repositioning the one or more user interface elements, and provides the user interface for display based on inserting the new user interface element into the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20200264867
Abstract: In some implementations, a server device may receive, from a client device, a script identifier, that identifies a script, and an indication of whether the script was successfully executed by the client device. The server device may determine whether a condition associated with disabling the script is satisfied based on the script identifier, the indication of whether the script was successfully executed by the client device, and stored information determined based on a plurality of indications of whether the script was successfully executed by a plurality of other client devices. The server device may selectively cause a data structure to be updated to indicate that the script is disabled based on determining whether the condition is satisfied. The data structure may be used to indicate whether the script is enabled prior to execution of the script.

The first financial account being associated with the gifter and the gift recipient having preregistered user account with the software application. The method includes identifying one or more recipient financial accounts associated with the gift recipient including at least a second financial account. The method includes identifying a gift-eligible transaction that is associated with the second financial account by monitoring transaction data associated with the one or more recipient financial accounts. The method includes transmitting a gift notification to a second computing device and outputting an instruction to initiate a transfer of a gift amount from the first financial account to the second financial account.
