  • Patent number: 12110070
Abstract: A fifth wheel release arrangement for releasing a trailer from a towing vehicle in response to a trigger signal. The arrangement comprises one or more externally threaded fasteners and one or more pinion nuts comprising internal threads for engaging the external threads on the threaded fasteners, thereby holding the fifth wheel in position with respect to a first bracket attached to a towing vehicle frame, wherein the externally threaded fasteners are arranged to be rotationally fixed when received by the pinion nuts. The pinion nuts further comprise external teeth for engaging a toothed rack, and the rack is movable by an actuator system, in response to the trigger signal, in a direction to rotate the pinion nuts, whereby the externally threaded fasteners are ejected from the pinion nuts upon moving the rack by the actuator system in the direction, thereby releasing the trailer from the towing vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12040967
Abstract: A system accesses a set of devices transferring a plurality of data elements from a source device to a destination device. The system determines that a first subset of data elements from among the plurality of data elements is transformed in a first subset of devices. The system determines that a second subset of data elements from among the plurality of data elements is transformed in a second subset of devices. The system splits the plurality of data elements into the first subset of data elements and the second subset of data elements. The system communicates the first subset of data elements using a first transfer path through the first subset of devices. The system communicates the second subset of data elements using a second transfer path through the second subset of devices.

  • Patent number: 11153175
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system are disclosed. The method includes determining probability of high data flow event, memory requirements for the high data flow and time to high data flow event by using pattern recognition based on natural language Processing (NLP), machine learning and statistical algorithms. The method applies a configuration to the edge device and network system when the probability of high data flow event is above a predetermined threshold for handling the high data flow event.

  • Publication number: 20080226279
Abstract: An image processor, which determines appropriate exposure parameters for a shutter assembly in a camera. The image processor may computationally determine a region of interest in a scene sought to be captured, and set the parameters to ensure that the exposure parameters are set to capture an image of the scene with the region of interest having a desired brightness level. In an embodiment, pixel values of multiple frames (each frame with a corresponding set of configuration parameters of the shutter assembly) may be examined to determine the frame having pixel values with the region having the desired brightness level. The shutter assembly may be configured with the parameters corresponding to such a frame to provide an auto-exposure feature.
