  • Publication number: 20250077485
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for performing a data center monitoring and management operation. The data center monitoring and management operation includes: generating a tag for an object within a data center asset, the tag for the object associating a contextual meaning with the object; registering the tag when the tag is generated; storing the tag within a tag storage repository when the tag is registered; and, managing an aspect of the tag via a data tag management operation.

  • Publication number: 20250077486
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for performing a data center monitoring and management operation. The data center monitoring and management operation includes: identifying an object within a data center asset; indicating a desire to provide a contextual meaning for the object; designating a user defined tagging structure; generating an auto tagging policy based upon the user defined tagging structure; and, instantiating a tag, the tag associating the contextual meaning with the object, the tag automatically conforming to the user defined tagging structure, the instantiating using the auto tagging policy.

  • Patent number: 11282086
Abstract: Techniques for detecting counterfeit checks include using sensors to determine correspondence between items detected on a check using machine vision. Correspondence between different items on a received check is used to generate a check score, which is compared to a risk-based threshold to determine how a transaction involving the check should be handled.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 4, 2020
Date of Patent: March 22, 2022
Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)
Inventors: Reynaldo Medina, III, Robert G. Wood, Nandhini Sridaran, Adam Newman, Mario Gutierrez, William Barfield
  • Patent number: 10713658
Abstract: Techniques for detecting counterfeit checks include using sensors to determine correspondence between a portion of sensed check information and related information; analyzing behavior related to accounts to a check deposit transaction; and controlling check depositing through user interface controls or communication. These techniques can be employed individually or in combination.

  • Patent number: 10268910
Abstract: Techniques are described for authenticating a user to access information through an application executing on a computing device. Multiple authentication methods may be used in combination to authenticate the user with greater confidence than authentication provided by a single method, and to verify that the user is a live person and not an image or video. Facial recognition may be used in conjunction with heartbeat detection, via video analysis, to verify the user's identity and confirm that the user is live. Facial recognition may include capturing an image of the user's face and comparing certain points on the face with previously gathered information regarding the user. Heartbeat detection may include capturing a video segment of the user, stabilizing the captured video data, applying motion magnification techniques to the stabilized video data, and analyzing the stabilized, magnified video data to determine a presence of the user's heartbeat.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 13, 2018
Date of Patent: April 23, 2019
Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)
Inventors: Reynaldo Medina, III, Carlos Chavez, Nandhini Sridaran, Russell Colwell, Yuesheng Liu, Storme Shelton Briscoe
