  • Publication number: 20220309653
Abstract: This invention provides a system and method for analyzing and classifying imaged from whole slides of tissue. A source of image data transmits images of the tissue on the whole slides to a GPU. The GPU performs a feature extraction process that identifies and segments regions of interests in each of the images, and an attention network that, based upon training from an expert, identifies trained characteristics can comprise cancerous and/or pre-cancerous conditions/e.g. those associated with a gastrointestinal tract, such ad Barret's Esophagus. The feature extraction process can include a convolutional neural network (CNN). The attention network can be adapted performs attention/based weighting of features relative to the trained characteristics, and/or the attention network can include 3D convolutional filters. The image data is acquired using an image sensor having approximately 100 Megapixel resolution.

  • Publication number: 20220148164
Abstract: This invention provides systems and methods that can detect incidental OVFs in CT examinations at the level of practicing radiologists. The OVF detection system leverages a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) to extract radiological features from each CT scan slice. These extracted features are processed through a feature aggregation module to make the final diagnosis for the full CT scan. Feature aggregation, can be performed in a variety of ways, including the use of a long short-term memory (LSTM) network. In one example, the CNN can be trained on a predetermined number of CT scans, which are established as reference standards. This result can effectively the performance of practicing radiologists on this test set in real world clinical circumstances. The system and method can be employed to assist and improve OVF diagnosis in clinical settings by pre-screening routine CT examinations and flagging suspicious cases prior to review by radiologists.

  • Publication number: 20190279313
Abstract: A power exchange management device includes: a power consumer service processor that receives bid solicitation information from a power consumer, the bid solicitation information being for soliciting exchange of power; a prosumer service processor that publicizes a bid solicitation condition on a terminal device of a prosumer on the basis of the bid solicitation information and receives application information responding to the bid solicitation information from the terminal device of the prosumer; a prosumer power transmission information acquirer that acquires information about an amount of power transmitted to the grid by the power transmission facility of the prosumer by reverse power flow; and a target manager (24) that compares the acquired amount of transmitted power with a target value set on the basis of the bid solicitation information and the application information and determines an incentive to be offered to the prosumer depending on a result of the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20190078902
Abstract: A congestion avoidance support system includes a storage device storing information of respective travelers, and an arithmetic device configured to receive a request to avoid congestion from a business operator terminal of a predetermined business operator, identify the content of an incentive on the basis of a road to be avoided during congestion in the request and crowdedness situation of the road, distribute information of the incentive to a traveler terminal and, upon receiving, after the distribution, a notification from the traveler terminals that either a predetermined property in the request has matched the traveler's transfer policy and transfer trend, or the traveler has moved in accordance with the request and therefore acquired the incentive, perform each of the processes of identifying the content of the incentive and distributing the information again, when the crowdedness situation of the road to be avoided indicates a predetermined degree of crowdedness.

  • Publication number: 20170300819
Abstract: A time-series prediction apparatus 10, which is an information processing apparatus that predicts transition of time-series data on a matter, calculates a relevance level which is an index of strength of a causal relation between a plurality of matters including a prediction target matter, based on time-series data relevant to each of the matters and on time-series data relevant to the causal relation between the matters, and predicts transition of the time-series data relevant to the matter based on the calculated relevance level. The time-series prediction apparatus 10 calculates the relevance level based on collocation frequency of terms relevant to the respective matters in the time-series data relevant to the causal relation between the matters.

  • Publication number: 20090136205
Abstract: A video recording apparatus wherein in the case where video recording programming information generated by an automatic video recording programming control unit is already present in a video recording programming information table, the video recording programming information is recorded in duplicated video recording information table. In the case where other video recording apparatuses connected via network cancelled the video recording programming information, which had been registered in the duplicated video recording information table, a video recording programming control unit stores the video recording programming information in a video recording programming table, and a video recording control unit executes video recording, based on the video recording programming information table.
