  • Publication number: 20060092965
Abstract: An information terminal incorporates a network interface and an extension interface, and in the case of outside call, an audio send signal is modulated into an audio signal frequency band, and sent to the exchange through a private telephone line and a subscriber's line by way of the network interface. An audio receive signal sent from the exchange through the subscriber's line and private telephone line is demodulated into an ordinary audio frequency band through the network interface. On the other hand, in the case of extension service, an audio send signal is converted into a packetized digital signal by an extension interface circuit, and is further modulated into a higher frequency band so as not to overlap with the audio signal frequency band, and is transmitted through the private telephone line.

  • Publication number: 20060010860
Abstract: A catalyst-installed muffler includes an expansion chamber (25), and a gas-permeable exhaust gas-purifying catalyst (30), wherein exhaust gas blown out of the exhaust port (10) of an internal combustion engine is introduced into the expansion chamber (25) through the catalyst (30). The catalyst (30) may be cylindrical in configuration. An outer circumferential cross-sectional configuration of the catalyst (30) is made identical with an inner circumferential cross-sectional configuration of the outer end portion (10a) of the exhaust port (10), so that one end portion (exhaust gas introducing side 30a) of the catalyst (30) is enabled to fit in an outer end portion (10a) of the exhaust port (10). According to this muffler, it is made possible to utilize the purifying capacity of the catalyst to a maximum extent.

  • Patent number: 6226319
Abstract: A spread spectrum demodulation circuit includes a correlation signal generator which generates a correlation signal from a reception signal to which a quadrature phase shift keying and a spread spectrum modulation are performed. First and second delay elements have different delay times, and delay the correlation signal to obtain first and second delay signals, respectively. First and second adders add the correlation signal and the first and second delay signals to obtain first and second addition signals, respectively. First and second distributors distribute the first and second addition signals, respectively. First and second multiplication circuits obtain first and second multiplication signals from distributed signals inputted from the first and second distributors, respectively. A data demodulation circuit demodulates the first and second multiplication signals to recover a transmission information signal.

  • Patent number: 6078608
Abstract: A spread spectrum communication apparatus employs a surface acoustic wave matched filter and surface acoustic wave delay lines which enables the demodulation in accordance with the QPSK scheme. A SS demodulator has a correlated signal acquisition circuit for demodulating a received SS signal to acquire a correlated signal, first and second delay circuits for delaying an output signal from the correlated signal acquisition circuit, and first and second adder circuits for adding the output signal of the correlated signal acquisition circuit and respective outputs of the first and second delay circuits. The first delay circuit delays the input signal by T+(.+-.n+5.times.a/8)/fc, while the second delay circuit delays the input signal by T+(.+-.m-5.times.a/8)/fc. Thereby, a spread spectrum communication apparatus which enables the demodulation in accordance with the QPSK scheme by a simple configuration using a surface acoustic wave matched filter and surface acoustic wave delay lines is provided.
