  • Publication number: 20170116743
Abstract: There is provided an image processing device. An object detecting unit is configured to detect objects from each frame image sequentially input from an imaging device. A selecting unit is configured to select objects positioned at the lowest portions, from the objects included in a plurality of individual segment areas constituting the frame image and existing side by side in a left-right direction. A highlighting-image generating unit is configured to generate highlighting images for highlighting the objects selected by the selecting unit.

  • Publication number: 20160259983
Abstract: An obstacle detection apparatus according to an embodiment includes an on-vehicle camera (image capturing unit), an estimation unit, and a determination unit. The on-vehicle camera is provided on a vehicle and captures an image of surroundings of the vehicle. The estimation unit estimates an existence region with an obstacle existing therein in an image captured by the image capturing unit. The determination unit determines presence or absence of the obstacle based on brightness of the existence region.

  • Publication number: 20160063333
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: an image processor which: receives a captured-image from an image acquisition part acquiring the captured-image from a camera that captures an image of a vicinity of a vehicle; project data of the captured-image onto a virtual projection plane provided in the vicinity of the vehicle; and correct deformation of the captured-image caused by projection of the captured-image onto the virtual projection plane. In a case of presence of a command indicative of enlarging a portion of the captured-image, the image processor corrects the deformation of the captured-image by using a greater correction amount than that used in a case of absence of the input of the command indicative of enlarging the portion of the captured-image. Accordingly, in a case where a portion of an image of a vicinity of a vehicle is enlarged, deterioration of image quality can be suppressed as much as possible.

  • Publication number: 20160021313
Abstract: An image processing apparatus that processes an image includes: an image acquisition portion that acquires a captured image from an imaging apparatus which captures an image of a vicinity of a vehicle; and an image generator that generates a display image in which a support image for supporting driving is superimposed on the acquired captured image captured by the imaging apparatus, the image generator being configured to (i) make a determination as to whether the vehicle is in a stopped state or a moving state, and (ii) select a type of the support image to be superimposed on the acquired captured image in the display image based on the determination as to whether the vehicle is in the stopped state or the moving state.

  • Publication number: 20150274176
Abstract: In a vehicle control apparatus, a display device displays a vehicle image showing a vehicle shape viewed from a virtual view point, and a user interface accepts a user's operation. When the user interface accepts the user's operation that issues an instruction for changing the vehicle image, a display control unit causes the display device to display the vehicle image after the changing of the virtual view point. Simultaneously, the display control unit causes the display device to display command buttons corresponding to portions of the vehicle shown by the vehicle image after the changing of the virtual view point.
