  • Patent number: 10765953
Abstract: An example of an information processing system includes a plurality of information processing terminals and a server. One terminal outputs an inaudible sound, thereby transmitting a user ID to the other terminal. The other terminal senses the inaudible sound and distinguishes the user ID of the one terminal in accordance with the inaudible sound. Based on the distinguished user ID, the other terminal acquires user information from the server and displays the acquired user information. The other terminal transmits a friend request to the server. When receiving friend requests from both terminals, the server stores the user IDs of both terminals in association with each other.

  • Publication number: 20190178122
Abstract: An oil separator for trapping oil mist contained in blow-by gas includes a separation plate, an upstream oil-mist trapping chamber, and a downstream oil-mist trapping chamber. The upstream and downstream oil-mist trapping chambers are divided by the separation plate. The upstream oil-mist trapping chamber communicates with a flow inlet for blow-by gas. The downstream oil-mist trapping chamber communicates with the upstream oil-mist trapping chamber and communicates with a flow outlet for blow-by gas. A return port formed through the separation plate returns oil mist trapped in the downstream oil-mist trapping chamber into the upstream oil-mist trapping chamber. The return port is positioned vertically above the bottom surface of the upstream oil-mist trapping chamber and is positioned at substantially the same vertical level as the lowermost portion of the bottom surface of the downstream oil-mist trapping chamber.

  • Patent number: 10318825
Abstract: In a vehicle-mounted image recognition apparatus, a resolution of an image projected on an imaging plane of an image sensor is different at a position away from a center between a circumferential direction and a radial direction. To make a circumferential resolution higher than a radial resolution, at least a lower half of the imaging plane is located closer to a circumferential focus than a middle of a radial focus and the circumferential focus at a position off the optical axis center of the image projected on the image sensor through the image-forming optical system. This is achieved by adjusting the position of the imaging plane when manufacturing or by selecting a lens with high circumferential resolution. This apparatus improves recognition accuracy in recognizing traffic lanes without using an expensive lens exhibiting high resolution both in the circumferential direction and in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 9290662
Abstract: The present invention provides a thermoplastic resin composition which is produced by a method which includes melt-kneading: (a) a polyphenylene sulfide resin, with (b) a polyetherimide resin or a polyethersulfone resin. The thermoplastic resin composition contains 99 to 1% by weight of the component (a) and 1 to 99% by weight of the component (b) based on 100% by weight of the total amount of the component (a) and the component (b). The melt-kneading step is conducted by employing an extruder provided with an elongational flow zone which is a zone in which melt-kneading is performed while being allowed to undergo elongational flow, wherein the flow effect pressure drop is from 50 to 1,000 kg/cm2 and is determined by subtracting the pressure value (P0) of the molten resin in the elongational flow zone from the pressure value (P) of the molten resin before entering the elongational flow zone.
