    Abstract: A front wheel caliper bracket for supporting an axle is provided in a lower end portion of a front fork. A wheel speed sensor is mounted on the bracket. The wheel speed sensor includes a fixing section and a sensor section, and is mounted on a sensor mounting section of the bracket by a bolt. The sensor mounting section is integrally formed with a rotation regulating portion in a projecting fashion. When fastened by the bolt, a lateral part of the rotating wheel speed sensor comes into contact with the rotation regulating portion to regulate the rotation of the wheel speed sensor, so that the stress from the rotation regulating portion is not exerted directly on the sensor section.

    Abstract: A battery holding structure includes a battery tray for storing a battery therein. A battery holding rack is configured to store the battery tray with the battery stored therein and to allow the battery tray to be pulled out along widthwise directions of the vehicle. A ground wire has one end connected to a negative terminal of the battery and another end connected to a grounding member on a vehicle frame. A movement prevention member fixes the other end of the ground wire to the battery tray and prevents the battery tray from being pulled out to one side along the widthwise directions of the vehicle with the ground wire which is connected to the grounding member.

    Abstract: Male terminals are respectively provided in terminal attachment portions formed on a flange unit. Female terminals and grommets are provided for a harness. A seal lip portion to be fitted into each of the terminal attachment portions is formed on each of the grommets. In the cylindrical terminal attachment portions the male terminals are individually accommodated while being electrically insulated from each other. The terminal attachment portions are arranged alternately in two rows so that a line segment obtained by connecting the respective centers of openings of the terminal attachment portions is a polygonal line. The openings are arranged to form the Olympic symbol. At a fore-end of each of the terminal attachment portions, slits are provided. Owing to the slits, the opening is likely to be enlarged when the rubber grommet is inserted therethrough. As a result, the placement of the rubber grommet is facilitated.

A female terminal and a grommet having a sealing portion to be fitted into the terminal hole are provided to a harness. A distance from an end of the sealing portion to a fore-end of the female terminal is set smaller than a distance from a fore-end of the male terminal to an opening of the terminal hole. With such setting, the grommet is retained in the terminal hole even if the female terminal is disconnected from the male terminal, thereby ensuring support of the female terminal. Moreover, a stopper is attached so as to cover the terminal hole to prevent the grommet from slipping out of the terminal hole.

    Abstract: The deflection of a flexible linear body disposed between first and second members is relatively changed in position for easy restriction. A guide is integrally formed of soft synthetic resin and is mounted between an inner tube and an outer tube of a front forked portion for holding an intermediate portion of a brake hose connected to a brake caliper for braking a front wheel of a motorcycle. The guide includes a pair of ring-like mounting portions fixed to the inner tube and the outer tube, a band-like bridging portion for connecting both the mounting portions to each other, a plurality of holding portions provided on the bridging portion for holding the brake hose. The bridging portion has a flat rectangular sectional shape and is mounted to be curved in the X-direction. The bridging portion is easy to be deflected in the X'-direction and is difficult to be deflected in the Y-Y directions so that the brake hose does not interfere with a boot and the front fender.
