Patent number: 10920870Abstract: A lubrication structure of a power transmission device includes a housing, a bearing, a baffle, and an additional lubricating oil supply mechanism. A driven gear is to be housed in the housing. The bearing is provided in the housing to rotatably support the driven gear. The baffle is provided in the housing above the bearing in a height direction of the power transmission device. The baffle includes a tubular oil supply passage and a lubricating oil receiver. Lubricating oil is supplied to the bearing via the tubular oil supply passage. The lubricating oil receiver is connected to and is provided above the tubular oil supply passage in the height direction to receive lubricating oil splashed by the driven gear in order to supply the received lubricating oil to the tubular oil supply passage. The additional lubricating oil supply mechanism is to supply lubricating oil to the tubular oil supply passage.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2018Date of Patent: February 16, 2021Assignee: HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventor: Natsumi Iizuka

Patent number: 10563750Abstract: Provided is a power transmission device lubricating structure capable of preventing air from being mixed with a lubricating fluid while suppressing a resistance applied from the lubricating fluid to a rotation body in a casing. A lubricating structure includes a strainer which includes a suction port and partition members which divide an inner space of a transmission casing. The partition members define a differential room accommodating a final driven gear and a strainer room accommodating the strainer and communicating with the differential room at an upper portion thereof.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2018Date of Patent: February 18, 2020Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Natsumi Iizuka, Hiroyuki Kita

Patent number: 10408329Abstract: Provided is a casing of a power transmission device which is capable of preventing a position of a gasket from being displaced without performing a complicated assembling process while suppressing an increase in a size of the entire power transmission device. A gasket (63) interposed between a TC side case member (61) and a TM side case member (62) has a first held portion (63a) which extends toward an inside of the TM side case member. A discharge mechanism (64) fixed to the TM side case member (62) has a first holding portion (64a1) which comes into contact with the first held portion (63a) from the TC side case member (61) side. The gasket (63) is held by the TM side case member (62) by sandwiching the first held portion (63a) between the TM side case member (62) and the first holding portion (64a1).Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2018Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroyuki Kita, Natsumi Iizuka

Patent number: 10215272Abstract: A valve mechanism includes a communicating passage that communicates a first lubrication loop that supplies a lubricating fluid to a first lubricating part and a second lubrication loop that supplies the lubricating fluid to a second lubricating part. The valve mechanism includes: a housing main body in which a main flow passage guiding a part of the lubricating fluid to the communicating passage is formed; a branch part provided at the housing main body and branches the lubricating fluid into three directions for a first outflow port, a second outflow port, and a third outflow port; a check valve provided at the housing main body and stops a flow of the lubricating fluid from the first outflow port to the main flow passage; and a choke part provided at the check valve and adjusts a flow rate of the lubricating fluid flowing through the first outflow port.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2018Date of Patent: February 26, 2019Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventor: Natsumi Iizuka
