  • Patent number: 12271640
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods relating generally to pre-rendering prior receiving a command to print are disclosed. In such a method and system therefor, a determination is made that a document is open. An idle time is identified to pre-render at least a portion of the document prior to assertion of a print command therefor. At least the portion of the document is pre-rendered during the idle time thereof. In another method thereof, a determination is made that a document is offline. The document is determined to be a candidate to be pre-rendered. The document is pre-rendered to provide a rendered version thereof prior to assertion of a print command. The rendered version is cached.

  • Patent number: 12091795
Abstract: Systems and methods relate generally to textile patch attachment to a textile material. In an example, a method relating generally to textile patch attachment to a textile material is disclosed. In such a method, design and coloring of a textile patch and the textile material is detected. This detection includes: capturing images of the textile patch and the textile material with a camera; sending the images to a programmed computer system in communication with the camera for image processing; determining thickness and colors of the textile patch and the textile material from the image processing of the images; and determining position of the textile patch relative to a pattern of the textile material from the image processing of the images. After the detecting, data obtained from the detecting is displayed on a display screen of the programmed computer system.

  • Publication number: 20240201913
Abstract: A printing system includes a digital front end (DFE) system connected to a plurality of printing devices. The DFE system manages printing operations to the plurality of printing devices. The DFE system also includes a printing device connectivity manager to manage connections with the printing devices. Printing connectivity modules are installed at the printing device connectivity manager using application programming interfaces (APIs) that are loaded at the creation of the printing connectivity modules. The APIs allow the printing connectivity modules to interact with the printing devices. The printing connectivity modules can communicate with application modules located at the printing devices.
