  • Publication number: 20240288471
Abstract: A device for testing a voltage level in an electrical terminal cavity including a testing body and a probe for contacting the electrical terminal cavity. The probe includes a tip portion having a first cross-sectional area, a base portion having a second cross-sectional area, and an intermediate portion extending from the tip portion to the base portion having a third cross-sectional area. The first cross-sectional area is smaller than the third cross-sectional area, the third cross-sectional area is smaller than the second cross-sectional area, and the intermediate portion is concentric with the tip portion and the base portion. An axis extends between a center of the tip portion, a center of the intermediate portion, a center of the base portion, and a center of the testing body. The device also includes a circuit operatively coupled with the probe to sense the voltage level in the electrical terminal cavity.

  • Publication number: 20240286435
Abstract: A tool storage unit includes a housing configured to store a tool. The tool storage unit additionally includes an adjustable wheel assembly coupled to the housing. The adjustable wheel assembly includes a bolt movable between a first position and a second position, a support arm extending outwardly from the housing, a swing arm, and a caster wheel. The swing arm defining a first end and a second end, where the first end receives the bolt and is pivotally coupled to the support arm and the second end is rotatably coupled to the caster wheel. The swing arm is vertically movable between a raised position and a lowered position, where the caster wheel and swing arm are in the raised position when the bolt is in the first position and the caster wheel and swing arm are in the lowered position when the bolt is in the second position.

  • Publication number: 20240213812
Abstract: The present invention relates to wirelessly transferring energy to a cordless power tool to charge a power source, such as a rechargeable battery pack, coupled to the tool, and/or to provide power directly to the tool for operation of the tool. For example, a transmitter transmits a magnetic field, and a receiver receives energy via the magnetic field. When a tool and/or battery pack with the receiver is within the magnetic field, a sensing circuit connected to the receiver recognizes the magnetic field and signals a control circuit to capture energy, via the magnetic field. The energy received by the receiver can then be converted into an electrical current that can be used to supply power to the tool and/or battery pack.

  • Publication number: 20240025479
Abstract: A reinforcing frame structure that bolts or otherwise couples in place of a battery assembly of a vehicle, such as an electrically powered vehicle, and provides sufficient longitudinal, transverse, and torsional rigidity to the vehicle when the battery assembly is removed from the vehicle. The reinforcing frame structure can be releasably attached to the vehicle after the battery assembly is removed. This allows the vehicle to be taken off a lift and moved while minimizing potential damage to the vehicle while the battery assembly is removed from the vehicle.
