  • Publication number: 20240122614
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a basket for a catheter designed to be deployed in complex vasculature to optimally treat vascular and arterial disease conditions such as blood clots, blood emboli, and deep vein thrombosis. The basket may comprise a shaft with a plurality of cuts along a portion of its length to form a plurality of tines that provide support for a plurality of porous tubes to form the limbs of the basket. The limbs of the basket expand radially away from the longitudinal axis of the basket when the longitudinal length of the basket is reduced. The limbs may also be connected to a drug delivery system, and in this manner, baskets of the present disclosure allow for the use of both mechanical and pharmaceutical means of thrombolysis.

  • Publication number: 20220289425
Abstract: The invention provides a child-resistant package (10) comprising an inner tray (100) defining a storage compartment (101) and an outer sleeve (200). The package has a locking system which releasably locks the inner tray (100) in the closed position by means of a locking (tab 150) which releasably engages a locking aperture (213) in the closed position. The package also has a stopping system which prevents further withdrawal of the inner tray (100) from the outer sleeve (200) in the open position by means of the same locking tab (150) engaging a stopping aperture (214) in the open position. The locking tab (150) forms part of both the locking system and the stopping system and the locking tab is involved in both functions.

  • Patent number: 10967462
Abstract: An additive manufacturing system and method for forming a part of dissimilar materials. The additive manufacturing system may include a build platform, a recoater for dispensing build powder onto the build platform, an energy source, a foil feed assembly, and a controller for controlling actuation of these components. The method of forming the part may include the steps of depositing a layer of build powder onto the build platform surface, melting selected portions of the layer of build powder, applying a sheet of foil over the layer of build powder, melting selected portions of the sheet of foil onto the layer of build powder, removing the sheet of foil from the layer of build powder, and then lowering the build platform surface to prepare for deposition of a next layer of the build powder. These steps are then repeated one or more times, thereby forming the part.
