    Abstract: A breather is disclosed. The breather may have a breather housing, a desiccant material, and a moisture indicator. The breather housing may be configured to receive at least an air flow containing moisture. The desiccant material may be contained within the breather housing, and the desiccant material may be enclosed by a breather wall. The moisture indicator may be located within the breather housing, and the moisture indicator may be positioned between the desiccant material and an internal side of the breather wall. The moisture indicator may provide a visible representation of an amount of moisture adsorbed by the desiccant breather. The visible representation of the moisture indicator may be visually observable through the breather wall. The desiccant material may be configured to adsorb up to about forty percent (40%) of the desiccant material's weight in moisture.
