  • Cap
    Patent number: 8348075
Abstract: A cap which has a female screw in the inner peripheral surface and which is to be screwed on a port neck part of a container main body holding a predetermined liquid, wherein a plurality of ribs radially extending astride from an inner surface of a top surface part of the cap to an inner surface of a peripheral wall part and integrally projecting inwards are formed on a peripheral edge part of the inner surface part. A female screw is a screw in the form of two threads composed of spiral mated ridges of two threads, for example. The liquid held in the container main body is, for example, a chlorine-based bleach which contains a surface active agent and a sodium hypochlorite. The mated ridges each are 80 to 120 degrees in thread angle ? and 1 to 15% of a valley radius of the female screw in thread height H.

  • Patent number: 8270284
Abstract: The present invention relates to optical disks and optical disk devices, and has an object to reduce access time and prevent malfunction. To attain the above object, in an optical disk (100), a management information area (130) is placed inside a user data area (140), namely, at the innermost circumference position of the optical disk (100), in an information layer (101) placed at the farthest position from the surface. A position information area (132) that stores position information indicating the position of each information layer in a thickness direction of the optical disk (100) is placed in the management information area (130).

  • Patent number: 8259557
Abstract: By avoiding the problem that in a hybrid optical disc, an optical pickup suitable for a standard-density recording area cannot operate as desired in a high-density recording area, damage to the disc drive or optical disc is prevented and optimal control is enabled. Access operation identification information such as reproducing identification information indicating whether or not information recorded in the user data area of the optical disc can be reproduced under the reproducing conditions of the optical disc driving apparatus is recorded in the lead-in area. The optical disc driving apparatus reads this type of access operation identification information, compares it with access operation identification information possessed by the optical disc driving apparatus, and if they do not correspond, does not carry out access operations by the optical head to the user data area, because reproducing or recording compatibility with the optical disc is lacking.

  • Publication number: 20090319066
Abstract: An audio reproducing apparatus has a correction coefficient holding means (6) for holding at least one set of correction coefficients (K0) based on an inverse characteristic (H0) of a transfer characteristic from a speaker means (10) to a listening position (13). The correction coefficients are derived by convolution of an arbitrary transfer characteristic (H00) and the inverse characteristic (H0). The correction coefficients (K0) held by the correction coefficient holding means (6) are convolved with the audio signal in the non-recursive digital filter means (5) to generate output. The audio reproducing apparatus can realize an arbitrary acoustic characteristic easily, with a simple structure. Not just high fidelity audio reproduction, but also recreation of intended sound quality is enabled.
