    Abstract: A first linear member made of a first resin material having a relatively high rigidity is wound in a dense spiral in a first region and in a sparse spiral in a second region of a base tube for a catheter, and a second linear member made of a second resin material having a relatively low rigidity is wound in a sparse spiral in the first region and in a dense spiral in the second region of the base tube. Then, the first linear member and the second linear member are melted by heating, followed by solidifying the molten materials, thereby forming a catheter excellent in pushability, torque transmitting capability, following capability, kink resistance and safety.

A partition wall is provided in front of a series of treating liquid supply ports on the peripheral wall of the disc film treating tank to constitute a waste liquid chamber which is effective for inhibiting an occurrence of mixing of one treating liquid with other one. The height and width of the partition wall is so determined that stream of the treating liquid flies above the top of the partition wall under the effect of flow inertia.

    Abstract: A new and unique apparatus for specially treating photosensitive material in the form of disc films which have been lately developed but have a limited quantity of demand at present is disclosed in which a series of treatments starting with developing and ending with drying are automatically practiced for the disc films inserted in the apparatus. A plurality of treating tanks, a squeeze tank and a drier are arranged in line in the dark box of the apparatus, while a holder insert port is disposed at the one end part and a holder discharge port is disposed at the other end part of the apparatus. A hanger including a rotary disc film supporting shaft at the lower end part thereof so as to carry the disc film to be treated is slidably mounted on a movable rail which is caused to repeatedly practice a series of movements comprising raising, forward movement, lowering and backward movement, accompanied by a temporary stop at the lowermost end position.
