    Abstract: Provided is a portable wireless device which has a waterproofing effect and, at the same time, can improve resistance to static electricity. The portable wireless device (100) comprises a box-shaped housing (101) formed by fitting two cases at respective annular fitting surfaces of the two cases. In the portable wireless device (100), a circuit board (102) is provided in the housing (101). A waterproofing packing (103) has an annular shape and is provided between the fitting surfaces of the two cases and held by the two cases which constitute the housing (101). Further, in the portable wireless device (100), a first circuit board (110) is provided in a first housing (101). A second circuit board (115) is provided in a second housing (102). A signal line (119) electrically connects the first circuit board (110) and the second circuit board (115). A waterproofing packing (116) has an annular shape, and is provided between the fitting surfaces of the two cases and held by the two cases which constitute the second housing (102). A conductive element (118) is integrally formed with the waterproofing packing (116), electrically connected to an end of the second circuit board (115), and electrically connected to the signal line (119).

A folding mobile radio device includes a first case, a second case, a jointing portion for connecting the first case and the second case to open/close, a conductor element arranged in the first case, and a feeding element arranged in the second case. Then, in an open state via the jointing portion, the conductor element and the feeding element come close to each other and are coupled magnetically at a time of feeding a power whereas, in a close state via the jointing portion, the conductor element and the feeding element are apart from each other rather than the open state and are not coupled magnetically at a time of feeding a power.

    Abstract: In a folding type portable wireless unit, gain deteriorates sharply upon closure, in the case where an upper case is oscillated directly at the time of opening and used as an antenna in order to attain a wide band and a high gain. The folding type portable wireless unit comprises a first case, a second case, a coupling part for coupling the first and second cases to be opened/closed, a conductor element arranged in the first case, and a power supply element arranged in the second case. In the open state brought by the coupling part, the conductor element and the power supply element approach closely to each other and can be coupled electromagnetically at the time of power supply. In the closed state brought by the coupling part, the conductor element and the power supply element separate from each other as compared with the open state and they are not coupled electromagnetically at the time of power supply.
