  • Patent number: 7254743
Abstract: The present invention provides increased processing efficiency for service of performing predetermined processes on document data through cooperation among the processes over a network. If an error exists during document input in an input plug-in element before a start of rule-based processing, when documents are captured from the input plug-in element, contents of the error are stored in an error history memory, and documents normally inputted are subjected to processing of processing plug-in and output plug-in elements according to the rule. Also when an error occurs during the rule-based processing, the contents of the error are stored in the error history memory, and the rule-based processing is continued for normal documents. Error histories are referred to, and if an error exists, the error contents are reported on the basis of the error histories.

  • Publication number: 20050166184
Abstract: The invention provides an information processing apparatus, which performs a predetermined series of processes to document information in cooperation with an external device. The information processing apparatus includes: a display that displays an operation designation input screen, a rule information input screen and a determining button, which is designated when inputting of an operation designation and a rule information has been terminated and an input result has been determined, a decision unit that decides, when the determining button is designated, whether an operation for the job flow can be executed; and a controller that controls the display in such a way that the display displays, when the decision unit decides that an operation cannot be executed, a reason why the operation cannot be executed, and displays also a re-execution button, which is to be designated when the operation is re-executed.

  • Patent number: 4866393
Abstract: A method of diagnosing the deterioration of a zinc oxide type lighting arrester having one or more series-connected non-linear resistance elements including steps of elimination of the effects of capacitive currents from phase currents; obtaining a synthesized waveform using a window type transformer based on the resistance elements alone; and diagnosing the presence of a deteriorated non-linear resistance element by generating a first pulse voltage when the maximum crest value of the synthesized waveforms exceeds a predetermined value, generating a second pulse voltage representative of terminal voltage of the resistance element, and calculating the difference between the first and second pulse voltages.

  • Patent number: 4407866
Abstract: This invention provides a process for coating chopped strand of glass fiber with a thermosetting resin in an individually separated state which comprises dispersing chopped strand of glass fiber impregnated with a solution of thermosetting resin into an aqueous medium and then carrying out a removal of solvent. By this process, a pellet-formed glass fiber base material thickly coated with said thermosetting resin and free from filamentation and fuzzy of glass fiber can be obtained by a simple procedure.
