  • Patent number: 7054709
Abstract: A method for realizing embroidery simulation which can be used as an alternative sample to an actual object. A shade is added to a stitch not to brighten the center of the stitch and to darken the opposite ends thereof as shown at (a) but to brighten a stitch A close to a light source most and to darken a stitch B remote from the light source most as shown at (b). Assuming that the light source is not located on a two-dimensional plane where the stitch exists but a light beam enters obliquely from the upper space, variation of shade is also added in the widthwise direction of a yarn similarly to the longitudinal direction thereof in order to impart three-dimensional feeling thus attaining a simulation image having highly massive feeling.

  • Patent number: 5073451
Abstract: The invention provides a heat insulating glass plate with a multilayer coating which is fairly low in transmittance for solar radiation and fairly high in transmittance for the visible light and also for radio waves. The multilayer coating is a lamination of transparent and dielectric layers and has three essential layers in which the middle layer is higher or lower in refractivity than the inner and outer layers. The coating may have five layers in which the second and fourth layers are higher or lower in refractivity than the remaining three layers. Each layer of the multilayer coating is a metal compound film deposited by sputtering or CVD. In a first embodiment of the three-layer coating each of the inner and outer layers is formed of SnO.sub.x, ZrO.sub.x, TaO.sub.x or AlN.sub.x having a refractive index of 1.8-2.1 and the middle layer is formed of TiO.sub.x having a refractive index of 2.2-2.5. In a second embodiment, each of the inner and outer layers is formed of SnO.sub.x, TiO.sub.x, ZrO.sub.x, TaO.

  • Patent number: 4900630
Abstract: A multilayer coating film is provided on one side of a transparent or semitransparent glass plate to afford a golden appearance to the coated glass plate at least when viewed from the uncoated side. Essentially the multilayer coating film is made up of a TiN layer adjacent to the glass plate surface and either a Ti layer or a Cr layer which overlies the TiN layer, and the coating film is formed such that the transmittance of the coated glass plate for visible light becomes not more than 40%. Optionally, the Ti or Cr layer is overlaid with either a TiO.sub.2 film or a Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3 film. Also optionally, either a TiO.sub.2 film or a Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3 film is interposed between the TiN layer and the glass plate surface. Each layer of the multilayer coating film can be formed by sputter deposition using a relatively simple method, an the multilayer coating has good durability.
