Abstract: An all-solid-state battery and a method of manufacturing an all solid-state battery are disclosed. The all solid-state battery includes a metal oxide and a metal capable of alloying with lithium, thus uniformly depositing lithium during charging and enabling operation at room temperature (e.g., 20-25° C.).

Abstract: An embodiment all-solid-state battery includes an anode current collector, a buffer layer disposed on the anode current collector, a solid electrolyte layer disposed on the buffer layer and including a solid electrolyte, a cathode active material layer disposed on the solid electrolyte layer, and a cathode current collector disposed on the cathode active material layer. The buffer layer includes a first layer disposed on the anode current collector and including an electrically conductive material, and a second layer disposed on the first layer and including a metal capable of alloying with lithium.
