  • Publication number: 20230398447
Abstract: An acquirer acquires touch location information indicating a touch location on a touch panel. A designator designates the moving direction of an object in the game space based on the touch location information. In a case in which there are multiple paths in which the object is movable in a game space, a predictor predicts, from among the multiple paths, a path in which the object will be moving, based on the moving direction designated by the designator and a shape of an environment that restricts movement of the object in the game space. The display controller displays an image indicating a prediction result by the predictor in the game space.

  • Patent number: 8244073
Abstract: To detect the characteristic of the end portion of a line shape, in a line shape processing device (201), a coordinate storing unit (203) stores a first coordinate value of a point on a line in association with a second coordinate value, in regard to the shape of that line input by the user, a detecting unit (207) detects whether the shape of the end portion of the line input by the user is (a) a pennant shape where the vibration amplitude becomes narrow while vibrating, (b) a flag shape vibrating with a substantially constant vibration amplitude, or (c) a normal shape other than the shapes of (a) and (b) from the first coordinate value of the point in the stored line shape and the second coordinate value thereof based on the distribution of the extreme values of the second coordinate value.

  • Patent number: 8164578
Abstract: In a line shape processing device (201) for receiving an entry of a line shape via a mouse, a touch panel, etc. and processing the line shape, an entry receiving unit (202) receives an entry of information indicating whether a touch pen pushes the touch panel or not, and the pushed position if so. When pushing continuously occurs, a coordinate storage unit (203) stores, for each position included in a line segment joining a place pushed immediately before and a place pushed currently, the y-coordinate value of that position in association with the x-coordinate value of that position. A display unit (205) displays the line shape by acquiring, in an order regarding the x-coordinate values, the x-coordinate values and y-coordinate values stored in the coordinate storage unit (203), and plotting dots at positions within a screen designated by the x-coordinate values and the y-coordinate values.

  • Patent number: 7699705
Abstract: First, the coordinate position on a game screen of each point is calculated (S501). Then, a path which circulates through the coordinate positions (or their vicinities) of all the points is obtained (S502). A line segment is drawn to extend from the barycentric position of the points in a direction corresponding to an input direction, and the coordinate position of the intersection point of the obtained line segment and the path is calculated as a position on the path through which a cursor passes (S503). Finally, the image of the cursor is moved to the calculated intersection point coordinate position and is displayed (S504).
