  • Patent number: 5537867
Abstract: A magnetic-flux change-generating device 2 causes amplitude modulation of alternating magnetic flux in accordance with displacement of a movable body, and an amplitude-compensating device (low-pass filter) 4 causes attenuation of amplitude of electromagnetic-induction voltage of a pickup coil 3 substantially proportionally to frequency. When frequency of the alternating magnetic flux (also termed "carrier frequency") fluctuates, the amplitude of the electromagnetic-induction voltage fluctuates in proportion to the frequency, but because the amplitude of the electromagnetic-induction voltage is caused to be attenuated at an attenuation rate which is substantially proportional to the frequency, displacement can be detected accurately by this amplitude change, irrespective of change in the frequency of the alternating magnetic flux (i.e., the carrier frequency of the electromagnetic-induction voltage).

  • Patent number: 5250265
Abstract: A deodorizer which comprises a deodorant member, an electric motor, a fan fixed to the electric motor, a receptacle having these members accommodated therein, and a solar cell provided in the receptacle and adapted to supply a driving electric power to the electric motor, whereby, owing to the blowing action of the fan, air is caused to enter the interior the receptacle from an air suction port and pass therethrough and is blown out from an air blowout port to outside the receptacle, and the air is caused to flow around a portion of the receptacle where the solar cell is installed.

  • Patent number: 4925236
Abstract: An automotive air spoiler device has a pair of wing spoiler members provided on the left and right sides of the tail of an automobile body. Each wing spoiler member is disposed along each lateral side of the tail of the automobile body and extends obliquely outwardly from the automobile body. The wing spoiler members effectively interrupt air which tends to move from respective lateral sides of the tail of the automobile body to one of the upper side, rear side and the underside of the automobile body so as to prevent generation of a negative pressure region on the lateral sides of the tail of the automobile body, thereby ensuring high straight running stability of the automobile during running under the action of a lateral wind.
