A front end of the protrusion portion is configured in a curve shape in a plan view such that a central portion, in the vehicle width direction, of the front end is positioned forward the most. A lower end of the vertical wall portion is configured such that at least a central portion, in the vehicle width direction, of the lower end extends substantially straightly in the vehicle width direction. Accordingly, the flexibility of interior design can be improved, and also both the NVH performance and the pedestrian protection performance can be ensured.
