A vehicle seat includes a belt assist device attached to a lateral portion of a seat back and configured to move a portion of a seatbelt placed on the lateral portion to the easily reachable position. The belt assist device includes a rotary member attached to a recessed housing portion of the lateral portion via a rotary shaft and configured to rotate up and down between a housing position at which the rotary member is housed in the seat back and a protruding position at which the rotary member rotates to protrude forward of the seat back to push out a portion of the seatbelt. The rotary member is disposed forward of a belt guide provided at the periphery of an upper end of the seat back.

The plurality of light-emitting units are arranged so that one or more brightness peak values exist between adjacent light-emitting units. Moreover, the light emitted from the lenses of the light-emitting units has a plurality of brightness peaks with respect to the spreading direction of the light, and the arrangement interval of the plurality of light-emitting units is set so that the plurality of brightness peaks of the light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting units are aligned at substantially equal intervals.

Also included is a surface brightness adjusting portion which adjusts a brightness of an outer surface of the light-emitting region in response to a size of the gap and a distance from the dot-shaped light source.
