  • Publication number: 20240319221
Abstract: Provided are an automatic analysis device capable of suppressing the mixing in of a suspended matter in an upper layer sample to be dispensed from a specimen container to a reaction container; and a method for controlling the automatic analysis device. The automatic analysis device analyzes a specimen and comprises a specimen dispensing probe that dispenses the upper layer sample of a specimen which has been separated into the upper layer sample and a lower layer sample, from a specimen container containing the specimen to a reaction container; and a control unit that controls the operation of the specimen dispensing probe. The control unit causes the specimen dispensing probe to remove part of the surface layer of the upper layer sample and/or apply vibrations to the surface layer of the upper layer sample and then dispense the upper layer sample from the specimen container to the reaction container.

  • Publication number: 20240192238
Abstract: There is provided a sample container capable of dispensing a sample with a high accuracy even when a diameter of a test tube varies. The sample container includes: a containing unit that contains a sample and is inserted into a test tube; and a flange portion that is provided at an upper end of the containing unit and mounted on an open end portion of the test tube, in which the containing unit has a tubular body portion and a cup-shaped bottom portion connected to the body portion, and in the bottom portion, an angle formed by an inner wall continuous from the body portion and a central axis has a gradient of less than 20 degrees.

  • Publication number: 20230375581
Abstract: In an automatic analyzer, an operator can rapidly identify a cause for abnormality of measurement and improve the abnormality, by referring to sample measurement data; calculating a combination of values of factors based on reaction process data, the factors being predetermined variables or measured values representing characteristics of a reaction; and referring to a correspondence table including a distribution diagram and information regarding an abnormality cause candidate. The distribution diagram includes a normal range region and a plurality of abnormal range regions that are generated by a combination of normal/abnormal ranges of the plurality of factors, and the abnormality cause candidate is associated with each of the abnormal range regions.

  • Publication number: 20220034930
Abstract: An automatic analyzer that sets thresholds of measurement items and remaining reagent amounts. A reagent is dispensed, and checked whether a dead volume is set. If the dead volume is not set, and if the amount of a reagent in a reagent bottle is equal to or larger than a dead volume default value, the process proceeds to the measurement of the next specimen, and the amount is smaller than the default value, the use of the reagent bottle is ended, the reagent bottle is replaced, and the measurement is continued. If the dead volume is set, if the remaining amount of the reagent in the reagent bottle is equal to or larger than the setting amount, the process proceeds to the measurement of the next specimen, and if not, the use of the reagent bottle is ended, the reagent bottle is replaced, and the measurement is continued.
