  • Patent number: 8231018
Abstract: The present invention relates to a screw closure with tamper-proof strip, wherein the screw closure (10) has a tamper-proof strip connected to the lower edge of the cap skirt (2) by way of an easily tearable connection (8). The strip being in the form of a flexible strip (3), comprising a first portion (4) directed downward from the cap skirt (2) and a second portion (5) which is attached at the lower end of the first portion (4), and which is folded over inwardly and back in the direction of the head plate (1). At least one extension (7) is provided in axial extension of the second portion (5), the extension being attached to the outer free edge of the inwardly folded-over second portion (5), and leaving the inner edge thereof free. The second portion has at least one recess and extends along the inner circumference of the screw closure.

  • Publication number: 20100308050
Abstract: The present invention relates to a screw closure with tamper-proof strip, wherein the screw closure (10) has a head plate (1), an at least approximately cylindrical cap skirt (2) comprising a female screwthread (11), and the tamper-proof strip connected to the lower edge of the cap skirt (2) by way of an easily tearable connection (8), the strip being in the form of a flexible strip (3), comprising a first portion (4) directed downward from the cap skirt (2) and a second portion (5) which is attached at the lower end of the first portion (4), and which is folded over inwardly and back in the direction of the head plate (1), for engaging behind a securing ring (21) on a container neck (20), wherein at least one extension (7) is provided in axial extension of the second portion (5), the extension being attached to the outer free edge of the inwardly folded-over second portion (5); and leaving the inner edge thereof free.

  • Publication number: 20050247663
Abstract: The invention relates to a screw cap for containers with a threaded neck, in particular PET bottles designed to hold beverages containing CO2. Said cap comprises a top plate (1), an approximately cylindrical cap jacket (2), provided with an interior thread (3), an approximately cylindrical inner sealing collar (4), emanating from the top plate (1) and having an annular continuous region that projects radially outwards and an essentially cylindrical outer sealing collar (5), which concentrically surrounds the inner sealing collar (4). The maximum outer radius of the inner sealing collar and the minimum inner radius of the outer sealing collar differ only slightly, preferably by less than 2 mm and in particular by less than 1 mm and the inner and outer sealing collars (4, 5) are designed to receive the upper region of a bottle neck (11) in the annular gap formed between said collars.

  • Publication number: 20040112919
Abstract: The invention relates to a closure with integrated ventilation, comprising a pouring nozzle (1), a closing seal (2), which may be torn off and which closes the flow passage, fixing elements (3) for an essentially sealed connection with a container opening and ventilation tongues (4), extending radially inwards on a section of the pouring nozzle (1), lying axially on the inside of the closing seal (2). According to the invention, a closure with integrated ventilation in which the known positive pouring properties of closures provided with tongues is retained, whilst also providing a rapid pouring of liquids avoiding an uneven glugging of the pouring fluid caused by a corresponding incremental intake of air bubbles into the container may be achieved, whereby the ventilation elements are comprised partly of tongues (4) extending radially into the flow passage, which are separated by slots and partly of openings (5) in the wall of the flow passage (2) in the region between the tongues and the closing seal (2).
