  • Publication number: 20240341368
Abstract: Features relating to vaporizer devices configured to allow for temperature adjustment are provided. User controlled actions with respect to removing a cartridge from a vaporizer body and inserting the cartridge into the vaporizer body provide for temperature adjustment, where the temperature refers to a setpoint temperature of operation of the vaporizer device. The temperature adjustment aspects of the current subject matter provide a user with a controlled, intuitive, and simple method to adjust the setpoint temperature of the vaporizer device by incrementing through a sequence of setpoint temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20210154420
Abstract: Features relating to vaporizer device configurations related to dose consumption are provided. Aspects relate to configuring a vaporizer device with respect to providing feedback to a user with respect to dose consumption of one or more vaporizable materials being vaporized and inhaled by a user of a vaporizer device. The vaporizer device monitors dose consumption, based on at least applied energy amounts, and generates feedback in the form of a haptics pulse, an audio indication, a visual indication, or a combination thereof. A timer is used to determine if a dose falls within a series of doses or is part of a new series. A timeout period is used to stop or limit use following the completion of a series of doses. Data relating to the dose consumption and the series of doses may be stored on and associated with a cartridge, allowing for resumption of the dose consumption aspects.

  • Patent number: 10209876
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to facilitate the identification of one or more media files within a gallery of media files presented upon a display. In the context of a method, a gallery of media files is caused to be displayed. The gallery of media file is grouped into a plurality of sessions. Each session includes one or more media files. The method also causes display of a scrollbar partitioned into a plurality of segments. Each segment corresponds to a respective session of media files. The method further includes determining the media files of the gallery to be displayed in response to user input selecting a respective segment of the scrollbar. In this regard, the method determines the media files of the gallery to be displayed by determining the media files of the session corresponding to the respective segment of the scrollbar that is selected.

  • Patent number: 9535654
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to facilitate the association of a selected portion of an audio soundtrack with one or more video clips. In the context of a method, a visual representation of an audio soundtrack is caused to be displayed. The audio soundtrack is to be associated with one or more video clips to facilitate concurrent playback of at least a portion of the audio soundtrack and one or more video clips. The method also receives user input with respect to the audio soundtrack and, in response to the user input, adjusts a starting point of the audio soundtrack relative to the one or more video clips. The starting point may be adjusted by defining the starting point of the audio soundtrack based on the user input and also in a manner so as to coincide with a predefined feature of the audio soundtrack.

  • Patent number: 9323431
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program for forming graphics in a drawing area based on user instructions. In response to addition or changing of a first graphical object, an interaction zone is formed around the first graphical object for a given continuation period. It is detected if a second graphical object is drawn starting from the interaction zone during the continuation period and if yes, the first graphical object is changed by merging the second graphical object with the first graphical object.
