  • Patent number: 9625207
Abstract: The present invention is a cooling device having a number of cooling sub-assemblies, each having a body having a top with an opening, and an interior chamber for holding a cooling fluid. An equal number of sub-assembly connectors connect each body to two adjacent bodies so that the cooling device forms a generally cylindrical inner surface that can be placed around the outside of a beverage container so cooling fluid can absorb heat from a beverage in the container. Each sub-assembly may also have an activator bin inside it for storing an endothermic reactant and having a release mechanism that a user can activate to cause the endothermic reactant to mix with the cooling fluid thereby cooling the cooling fluid which in turn cools the beverage.

  • Patent number: 9480356
Abstract: An enhanced boot tray that combines the functions of a boot tray, shoe scraper, foot rest or stool. This boot tray has a plurality of upward extending projections connected to a flat base. The base is surrounded by a wall that may rise up to the height of the projections to serve as an additional scraping surface for footwear. This boot tray may optionally be used with a foot rest designed with a top surface that has the same characteristics as the tray, and walls elevating the top surface. When used with the foot rest, the boot tray is placed underneath to save space while providing additional space to store footwear. The foot rest also serves as a boot tray and shoe scraper.

  • Patent number: 8409688
Abstract: A water draining foot mat having a base with a plurality of upward extending projections where the upper draining surface of the base is sloped to facilitate the draining of water from the mat and the tops of the projections form a support for people to step on. The projections are sufficiently spaced apart to permit the majority of snow impinging the mat to contact the base where it can melt with the assistance of sunlight or salt so that the resulting water flows off the mat. The mat optionally includes water retaining walls with one or more water exits so that the walls in conjunction with the slope of the upper surface of the base cause water impinging on the mat to flow towards the water exits and off the mat.

  • Patent number: 8381542
Abstract: A beverage temperature modification device for cooling and warming beverages in a drinking vessel. The device has a body with an interior chamber for holding a temperature modifying substance such as water and a cap with an arm for securing the device to the rim of a vessel so that the device is maintained in a fixed position. The cap may be detachable and the body may have an opening for putting the temperature modifying substance into the chamber, or the temperature modifying substance may be sealed permanently in the chamber. The arm may be flexible so that it can stretch to allow securing the device to rims varying in thickness by a factor of two or more. The arm may be pivotable to allow adjustment of the position of the device when it is secured to the rim of a vessel.

  • Patent number: 6540200
Abstract: A freezer tray unit that houses removable inserts with various cavity shapes. This unit can be used to make ice in an unlimited number of shapes, by simply changing the inserts. This unit is made up of several kit contents. The quantities required for one kit are the body (1), slotted rod (1), bottom tray (1), releasers (8), and inserts (8). The unit utilizes two mechanisms for ice removal. One mechanism removes ice from individual inserts. Features responsible for this mechanism are the insert guard, slotted rod, releaser, and bottom tray. Another mechanism removes ice from all the inserts simultaneously. The ice removal features utilized in this mechanism are the insert guard, ice guard, slotted rod, and releaser. The inserts can be utilized independently in refrigerators for effective space management. Also, the inserts may be utilized for making baked products in ovens.
