    Abstract: A medical image display device is configured to set first reference information for starting extraction of a desired region on a medical image displayed on a display and second reference information for terminating the region extraction, generate a marker with finite size indicating execution information on a region extraction process in the direction from the first reference information to the second reference information, and control display of the marker and a region of interest on the display by associating it with the medical image. For example, the marker is shifted and set, and the shape of the region of interest is changed so as to contact the marker after being shifted.

    Abstract: In a medical image display device, setting means sets first reference information for starting extraction of a desired region on a medical image displayed on the display means and second reference information for terminating the region extraction. Control means generates mark information indicating execution information on a region extraction process in the direction from the first reference information to the second reference information set by the setting means and control display so as to correlate the generated mark information with the medical image. For example, the mark information generated by the setting means is shifted and set and the control means modifies the size and the shape of target region information according to the mark information shifted and set.

    Abstract: A plurality of Doppler image data corresponding to a plurality of sliced planes of an object which are different from one another, respectively, are received. The plurality of Doppler image data shows distributions of first and second moving directions and moving velocities of a moving substance in the object on the plurality of sliced planes, respectively. First and second data showing distribution corresponding to each of a plurality of velocity ranges of the moving velocities among the distribution of the first and second moving direction, respectively, of the moving substance on each of the sliced planes is obtained based on the Doppler image data. Each of first and second three-dimensional image data is obtained based on the data corresponding to each of the plurality of velocity ranges and also corresponding to all of the plurality of sliced planes among all of the first and second data, respectively.

    Abstract: A medical diagnosis image display method comprising the steps of transforming respective three-dimensional image information on a skull of a subject patient to be examined and diagnosed and skin covering the outer surface of the skull; obtaining respective two-dimensional image information on the respective three-dimensional images of the skull and skin viewed according to the same viewing perspective and storing the two-dimensional image information in a memory; displaying one item of the two-dimensional image information, for example, the two-dimensional image of the skull, and designating part of the displayed image information to be cut out, and automatically reading out the corresponding skin image information of the area corresponding to the designated cut out part; and displaying the read out skin image information in the cut out part of the image of the skull already displayed.
