  • Patent number: 11950905
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for measuring a physiological parameter of a human limb such as peripheral capillary oxygen saturation. The device comprises a hollow elastic sleeve of a predetermined shape comprising a cavity having a closed-loop cross-section for enclosing the limb; first and second arms, each comprising a hinge portion between a coupling portion and a handle portion, the coupling portion of the first and second arms being adapted to be coupled, respectively, to first and second diametrically-opposite longitudinal sections of the sleeve; and a physiological sensor for interacting with the limb enclosed in said cavity. The hollow elastic sleeve holds the first and the second arms and causes their hinge portions to mutually engage to form a hinge mechanism so that, by applying a compression force on the handle portions, the first and second arms rotate about the hinge mechanism expanding the cavity, allowing the limb to be received therein.

  • Publication number: 20230368694
Abstract: A training device for training patients scheduled to undergo a medical procedure in which they are required to hold still for a period of time includes a handheld device with a motion sensor and a display. A processor detects motion during an interactive part of the training that includes visual information based on the medical procedure that the patient will undergo and provides feedback to the patient about whether he is holding still enough or not.

  • Publication number: 20210236036
Abstract: A wearable system is for mounting against the skin of a subject. It comprises a flexible circuit board sandwiched (e.g. laminated) between a top layer and a base layer. The flexible circuit board has a meander section between end pads. The base layer and the top layer are bonded together by a bonding layer which has a meander opening around the meander section. This means the stretchability of the meander section is not inhibited by the lamination process.

  • Publication number: 20210215776
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to increase the predictability of the MRI exam for the patients. This object is achieved by a method for classifying sound of a magnetic resonance imaging sequence into a sound category, wherein the magnetic resonance sequence comprises a one or more sound blocks, wherein individual sound blocks have signal characteristics and wherein sound blocks having similar characteristics are to be classified into the same sound category, the method comprising the steps of: —receiving information about one or more gradient waveforms to be used in the magnetic resonance imaging sequence and; —using a classification algorithm to map the waveform information to a sound category and; —allocating a visual to the sound category.
