Abstract: An integrated ladder rack is provided for a truck. That integrated ladder rack includes a first side frame, a second side frame, a first cross member and a second cross member. The first side frame and the second side frame are translated from a stowed position to a deployed position and the first cross member and the second cross member are displaced to span between the deployed side frames to form a ladder rack. The related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A deployable storage system is provided for a truck. That deployable storage system includes a truck bed wall and a storage cabinet that is integrated into the truck bed wall. The storage cabinet is configured to be displaceable between a stowed position held within the truck bed wall and a deployed position extending above the truck bed wall.

Abstract: A multifunction tonneau cover is provided for a load bed of a truck. That multifunction tonneau cover includes a body having a plurality of leg receivers and a plurality of caps closing the leg receivers in a first mode of operation as a load bed cover. In addition, the multifunction tonneau cover includes a plurality of legs that are received and held in the plurality of receivers and a second mode of operation as a table.

Abstract: An apparatus for extending a vehicle bed includes a tailgate having first and second retractable members adapted for being recessed within the tailgate and for projecting therefrom in an extended position when the tailgate is lowered. A removable support is provided for connecting with the first and second retractable members in the extended position for extending the vehicle bed. The removable support may comprise a ladder supported by the tailgate. The ladder may assume a lowered position for use in stepping onto the tailgate using the retractable members as handles and a raised position substantially aligned with the retractable members for extending the vehicle bed. The removable support may also comprise a cross bar that connects with the retractable members to form the bed extension.

Abstract: An airbag system for use in a passenger vehicle includes a first airbag and a second airbag and a first airbag module. The first airbag module is shaped for mounting in a first front seatback and includes a first bracket, a first airbag in a deflated condition disposed in the bracket, and an inflator connected to the airbag. The first airbag in an inflated condition is sized to span a gap between the first front seatback and a second front seatback. A second airbag in a deflated condition is included as part of one of the first airbag module and a second airbag module. The second airbag in an inflated condition overlays the first airbag on one of a forward side and a rearward side.
